1-BR apt 0.5-mile to Acadia National Park & 1-mile to downtown

This 1BR apt is centrally located for great hiking, dining, and golfing. Ravens' Perch sits atop our detached 2-car garage, with its own enclosed entrance and outside parking spaces. The apartment is pet-friendly and a standard pet fee of $50 is initiated when you check that you are bringing a pet when booking. There are stairs leading up to the apartment, so guests must be comfortable and able to climb. The apartment has a studio feel, but does have a separate bedroom for privacy. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and a futon in the living room. Wifi allows for Amazon and Apple tv streaming. The kitchen space is small, but well equipped for most needs, including an oven. The bathroom has a shower and a washer/dryer unit. The unit is cooled/heated by a heat pump, so there is air conditioning available in the warmer months. There is a (very) small side yard space for your use only, with a charcoal grill and propane fire pit. We have two river kayaks (only safe for freshwater) that you are welcome to borrow, but you must have means of transporting them (we do have foam supports and straps for your rack if need be). The location is great, being a short (~8 min) bike ride to Acadia National Park's network of carriage paths, and an easy walk to town (~10-15 mins) so you can avoid parking fees. The Island Explorer passes right by the property, which will take you all over the island for free.
