Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme

We picked this hotel as it seemed to offer real quality. We were not disappointed. If you want flashy, trashy facades, "edgy" designer rooms & gimmicks, go somewhere else. If you want REAL service, terrific staff who REALLY care that you are enjoying your stay and who are totally professional in all they do, then stay here. Our sea view room as a good size with plenty of hanging space in the wardrobes, a decent shower and the balcony complete with seats and a table to enjoy the moment. After a fairly traumatic few months my wife & I just wanted to relax, be pampered and enjoy some sun. We were not disappointed. The sea view room meant that we could watch the posh yachts, the sunrise and the sunsets from the comfort of the balcony. The salt water pool was bliss with the chairs with tables or sun loungers nearby and the private beach just steps away from the main hotel really makes the place special. Having lovely staff looking after you for drinks whilst enjoying the sun was a lovely bonus. The restaurant and KalaKala bistro offer superb food with a wide selection of Neopolitan & Italian dishes. We tried several new Italian dishes & loved every one. The service in the restaurant is highly efficient, but the waiters are like swans, gliding amongst the tables calmly whilst beneath I'm sure it is organised bedlam. This is not a location for benidorm types who want to get a sunbed at 4am with a noisy disco until 3am and cheap booze in abundance. This is a location for the discerning types who want real quality accommodation, food and most of all service from staff who really enjoy making your stay memorable. We used the spa as well and again found the staff wonderfully friendly as well as being incredibly professional.

I've been coming to the Parco with my family and family friends since 2006. We return year after year. That is because, for our family and so many others, the Parco is our home away from home. The Parco is family-run and staffed by a wonderful group of talented and experienced professionals: chefs, waiters, maids, maître d's, bartenders, lifeguards, spa specialists, gardeners, and so many others who take pride in the work and have mastered the art of hospitality. From the exceptional food (make sure to book the board!), to the immaculate grounds, to the heavenly poolside apertivo service, it would take hours to list out each wonderful thing they that do. But I will share one anecdote that I believe encapsulates the Parco and the wonderful people who make this place what it is. On our last trip, we were preparing to take our car up into the mountains of Ischia for a day hike. As we were leaving, one of the owners noticed that that our tire was running dangerously low on air. Without a second's hesitation, he insisted on helping us. He brought us to the hotel garage, summoned an air compressor, filled the tire, and made sure we were safely on our way. I cannot imagine any other hotel in the world where a guest would have this personal experience with an owner himself. It speaks to the kindheartedness, selflessness, and genuine pride in caring for guests that has defined the Parco for decades and keeps us coming back year after year. We thank them once again for giving us a small taste of paradise on earth.

Our entire experience exceeded our expectations. This was our first visit to Ischia. We were impressed by the location of the Hotel, directly on the beach with chairs and cabanas provided free of charge on the beach. The pool was adjacent to the beach and plenty of chairs, tables and chaise loungers. Overall, we were most impressed by the way in the which the property was impeccably maintained both inside and out. The staff was friendly, attentive, kind, and dressed professionally. The free breakfast was amazing as well as the menu which we ordered off of for lunch a number of times. The staff openly and patiently engaged with us so that we could speak the little Italian we had learned. I would highly recommend this property.

If you want to have a rest, then this is the best location where you can enjoy the Sun, the beach, a gorgeous Spa and wonderful local restaurants. The dining room service is excellent, you can also meet Mr Vincenzo working at the bar, he’s very kind and he’s sorrounded by skilled professional guys working closely; the receptionists Massimo and Pasquale are always ready to reply to the tons of questions coming from the guests; when you go to the Spa you’ll have a jamboree service, you’ll swim into heated termal pools which are constantly well handled by the staff taking care of it. Whether you need to relax, you must try the Spa service like Cleopatra beauty treatment made by Annalisa and Miriam, who pampered me and my wife and that has made me feel like a guest-star. The sea is clean and pristine as you swim into an open-sea; at the restaurant you can find typical delicious sea food, even if I suggest modifying some dishes, but everything has lived up to my expectations! Just two words super jamboree!

My family and I recently stayed at this property for a wedding we attended on the island. We traveled with my 3 year old and my 85 year old grandmother! The property itself was very clean and well kept. My son loved it and the staff was so friendly towards him. The grounds magnificent. We were always able to get beach chairs and the staff was very accommodating. The housekeeping staff was so kind, the waitstaff very friendly and attentive. Massimo and Pasquale at the front desk were also so helpful in assisting us with plans and arrangements throughout our stay! The prices were very reasonable and the location was perfect, close to many different beach dining locations and 25 min cab ride into the main town! We also enjoyed taking the water taxis available in a 5 min walk! Giacomo at the spa really helped my grandmother who was struggling with some knee pain. The hotel was very relaxing and good for all ages. It was nice that the pool, lobby, terrace and beach were relatively close to one another, without too many steps, compared to other hotels on the island. Overall, I know we will be returning!! Look forward to seeing everyone again!

It’s the 5th time we came to this hotel, first after pandemic. The SPA facility was not fully operational. There were no official restrictions, but self-imposed by the management. On the last day of our stay they switched the waterfall in the indoor pool. Still many points were not operational. It seems that the management just didn’t want to maintain the facility. Overall, SPA was very disappointing. Appartamenti (the separate building) is not livable any more - not the place itself, and not because of a new night club/disco with terrible noise most of the nights and smokers of all sorts of ‘stuff’ that stop and stay right at your doorstep. We had to move to the main building to be able to spend the time resting. Only one person in the SPA is good for face treatments, the other is aweful! Massimo at the reception is a super hero! His service is the only reason we may consider the place again.
