I recently stayed at this Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations in every way! It’s a great choice for families looking for a peaceful retreat away from the busy streets of Barcelona. The location, about approx 45 km from the city, provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere—ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. it’s important to note that you’ll definitely need a car to get around, as public transport options are limited in the area. However, the drive to the city is straightforward, and having a car gives you the flexibility to explore both Barcelona and the beautiful surrounding areas. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a family-friendly place with a tranquil setting just outside the city. It strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and accessibility.

I don’t really want to write this review as I want to keep this place a secret…. It’s superb. Views of the back of the garden are amazing, my room was comfortable and well decorated. The club room with free refreshments a lovely addition and supper was delicious. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

L’Hotel du Fond de la Canya est un hôtel au antipode de ce que l’on voit habituellement en matière d’établissement hôtelier. Situé au bout d’une petite route un peu improbable, on arrive dans ce qui devait être une ancienne hacienda. On est un peu au milieu de nul part. On se gare dans le parking privatif et on pénètre dans un jardin extraordinaire, une vue superbe sur la campagne, les oliviers autour de nous, un calme religieux et une superbe bâtisse au mur d’un blanc immaculé. On nous conduit à notre chambre, une vraie salle de danse tant c’est grand avec une terrasse qui donne sur le jardin et la campagne avoisinante et la salle de bain avec douche et baignoire le tout en marbre blanc. Ensuite apéritif à discrétion que l’on se sert soit même. En repas , nous choisis le menu maison à 48€ , composés de plusieurs petites entrées ,d’un plat et dessert. Cuisiné essentiellement avec la production de l’hôtel. C’était parfait et le service au petit soin. Après une nuit au calme ( même la Clim était très discrète) on a pris un très bon petit déjeuner. Même si on a pas eu l’occasion dans profiter, il y a pour les amateurs, piscine, paddel, vélo, …. On est vraiment dans un palace sans se côté superficiel . Un havre de paix dont on n’imagine même pas que cela existe. Quand au prix , c’est pas compliqué , c’est imbattable au vu de l’ensemble des prestations ( cadre, accueil, chambre, service,…. Bref , on en ferait presque se second résidence si cela était possible. On a adoré, le meilleur auquel nous avons été.
