Hostal Bejar

Hostal Bejar is in the heart of Barcelona City Centre. It is not far from Sants station and Place De L'Espanya. There are Metro stations at these locations and there is also Tarragona which is really close by as well. Once I located the hostel I was shown to my room by the host and it was very comfortable. There was a bathroom nearby with a shower and the room was cosy and had everything I needed. The following day I went out and did everything I wanted to do and returned to the hostal and the room was refreshed and ready for me. Both nights I had a good night's sleep and the staff I met were really friendly and welcoming. It was not expensive to stay at the hostel and I felt I got very good value for money based on the location as it was perfect for what I needed.

We stayed in Hostal Bejar for 11 nights due to the Primavera festival. My friend and I were looking for a decent place to stay, with separate beds and a good shower. Hostal Bejar met and exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean. We had our own bathroom - also spotless. We were offered for our room to be cleaned everyday and were offered new towels. The room came with a hanging rail, small desk, full length mirror and a window with black out options. Enough space for the two of us. Also the room has AC to adjust for the climate you would prefer for sleeping. Location excellent, close to rail, bus and metro. Close to Montjuic. Staff excellent and very helpful. My suitcase was lost along the way, we alerted staff that it would be delivered soon, and came home one evening to find they had put it in our room. This saved us going across the street to reception, and then taking it up the stairs in the Hostal itself. Very kind and not expected. We would stay again and recommend to anyone who was visiting Barcelona.

Had a room [10] with shared bathroom..As i was on a very tight budget, that was no issue. Upon arrival, a building across the road has a sign up outside for the Bejar..After 10mins of trying that, My spanish friend called them and I had to go across to what looked like a residential block where there was a hostal buzzer.. Entry was a little strange, you had to be let in to the building everytime day or night. Back to the room, as stated earlier, was a shared bathroom room..The room itself was a quiet single room. Could have done with an extra pillow [never asked TBH], was nice and clean, fresh towel and bedding daily. was not the largest of single rooms i've ever stayed in but by no means the smallest. There is access to a communal fridge/freezer, kettle/microwave..No tv in the room but the wifi was always available and a great speed.. Would I stay here again, a definite YES!, in fact am looking to book a stay later this year!!

Habitación y baño muy pequeños pero suficiente si solo vas a dormir y poco más. Trato muy bueno. Cerca del metro, Montjuïc y estación de Sants. Un poco caro para lo que es, pero siendo Barcelona, es lo habitual. La pega es que no hay desayuno, pero cerca hay una cafetería buena.

Tengo una reserva hecha para el día de mañana con Boocking, primero intente hablar con el dueño, segundo con Boocking le advertí que por enfermedad médica sobrevenida no podríamos viajar. El dueño si se puede llame así un tal Javier muy mal educado no dio ninguna solución, cuando Boocking le pidió cambiar fechas dijo que no. Por un problema médico??!. Les advierto para que no les suceda lo mismo. Y encima cobra la habitación. Tranquilo el mismo trato humano le será devuelto.

Pésimo de verdad, me han hecho hasta llorar de la rabia e impotencia. Reserve para dos noches y en menos de 24 horas me vi obligada a cancelar por motivos urgentes de familia. Me han cobrado inmediatamente el valor de 145 euros por la cara. He llamado ,rogado que me devuelvan el dinero, para al final oír que la próxima vez debo ver antes, el tipo de reserva. No recomiendo para nada.
