I had a really enjoyable stay at Moxy Barcelona. The location was fantastic — perfectly situated for exploring the city, with great transport links and plenty of cafes, shops, and attractions nearby. I was lucky enough to get a high-floor room with a balcony, which offered an amazing view over the city and made for a great spot to relax in the evenings. The staff were all friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere that really added to the experience. The overall vibe of the hotel was modern, fun, and stylish — exactly what I was hoping for. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base in Barcelona.

Location very convenient.  Very near to train stations staff are friendly.

We stayed for three nights and overall had a nice experience. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of great options, and the location was really convenient. The only downside was that the room could have been cleaner, which was a bit disappointing, but it was still quite comfortable.

**This hotel falls far below expectations.** On the first day, I was placed in the wrong room—one that was half the size of what I had booked (12 m² instead of 24 m²). The reception didn’t inform me beforehand; I only realized the mistake after seeing the room myself. When I complained, they simply said, *“Sorry, we don’t have another room available.”* As a result, I had to spend the night in the smaller room because they had already given my booked room to someone else. This alone should be a red flag for anyone considering this hotel—their service is unprofessional and unreliable. Beyond that, the hotel’s facilities are severely lacking. Basic amenities like toiletries and a kettle (for hot water) are missing. They provided only two bottles of water and some towels on the first day but didn’t refill the water afterward. For one of the most expensive hotels I’ve stayed in, the quality is shockingly low. Even the room’s design is impractical—it’s oddly long, making it uncomfortable to watch TV since it isn’t positioned opposite the bed. The shower has weak water pressure and lacks a proper handle to keep it overhead. Even the elevator button 4 which was my floor didn’t work and I had to change the elevator to go to my floor!!! To make matters worse, when I requested a late checkout (just one hour due to my flight), they refused without consideration. I strongly advise against booking this hotel unless they either drastically improve their service or lower their prices. Paying €160 for such poor quality is unacceptable, and I will continue sharing my experience until they make changes.

Always like to start with the positive! Hotel really nice with fresh/modern interiors. Rooms were a good size and we even had a small balcony. However… we went to check in at approx 240pm and our room wasn’t ready. We were given some drinks tokens and told to come back at 315pm. We came back at 330 and was told room still not ready. I asked how long it would be and the receptionist went to check with the manager. And didn’t come back! I was left standing there for 20 minutes until one of her colleagues eventually got us the room key. There were loads of guests complaining about their room not being ready and big queues at reception. Was really disappointed that the room didn’t have a fridge or even shelves to put clothes on. So had to basically live out our suitcase for the stay. Location is a bit far out from the city centre but right next to Nobu hotel, which was fab for cocktails and a great view. Moxy pool area is really nice but the bar staff never seemed to have any change, which was annoying! The staff were all really friendly but as I said before, the service at reception could definitely be improved. Overall though, the Moxy was okay but I wouldn’t go back.

Good location. Near to train and metro stations. Some staffs were great help and some just too casual to be bothered. Room was good. Amenities were mediocre. My room was near to lift so it was noisy. Also the cleaners start cleaning rooms in early morning as guests leave so it can be very noisy too. Overall average stay.

Location is great and easy to transport to all tourist spot. Only 6 cans of water in room for a 3 people in 6 days stay..... Internet service is terrible, it comes and goes withour any reasons....

Loved it! Super clean, excellent facilities, comfortable room and super friendly staff. We were only there for one night but will definitely go back again!! Thanks a lot

Great location near train station, and 5 mins walk from metro, just a few stations from city centre. The staff are very nice, and allow us to check-in earlier as the room is available. The room is spacious, clean & tidy. The breakfast is great with lots of varieties. There is a supermarket just next door, very convenient to get food & drinks just in case you need something. The surrounding area is safe & quiet. Loving it!

Near the train station to other cities in europe which is excellent.

Hotel is next to Barcelona Sant, very convenient. The room has a very nice bathroom with large shower space.

The location is great - in between of 2 metro stations/ main train station. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable.
