Location is bit far away from major attraction Room is very clean and bed very comfortable , slept like a baby  Service is just okay, rooms for improvement

Overall stay was pleasant and nice new hotel facilities. Room size is big which fits us with the number of luggage we travel with. Generally staff were pleasant though not all are with smiles. Near downtown with taxi approx 15mins. Enjoyed the breakfast spread and we were happy with the stay.

This is such a family friendly hotel. We had a lovely stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious, which was the main reason why I chose this hotel. Everything can’t be any better, just like the sunny weather in Barcelona. I’ve already started looking at Intercon in Rome, as we are thinking of going there next summer. It truly deserves five stars!! Walking distance to Monjuc and many tapas places nearby. I recommend sandwiches from O Barco and tapas dinner from Taps

Friendly service with a smile from the moment we arrived till the day we left. Large rooms with full amenities and the most comfortable bedding. The rooftop terrace with a lovely view and wonderful cocktails and food served with gracious hospitality is a must try. Within walking distance to all locations

Good to stay with the family. Very comfortable bed and a clean and spacious room. The hotel staffs are very friendly. Loved the breakfast buffet. Muy recomendable.

Incredible service and reception, the rooms are super spacious and have a good area for working. The only small downside is that the music in the hall is played too loud so important calls cannot be taken from there,

Really good hotel. Exactly what you expected from intercontinental. Pretty nice view as well. And it’s located in a really good area, and very close to hop on hop off Buss. The rooftop also amazing

The hotel room is large and good accommodation for family with two young kids. Located near the Poble Sec station which is convenient to visit main attractions through metro L3. Staff are helpful and polite as always.

A truly wonderful experience. Located very close to the Magic Fountain and Plaza de España, the hotel is a short walk to the bus and metro stations. From the airport it took just 30 minutes by bus for just €5.70. The rooms are a very good size and spotlessly clean. The spa is excellent and the gym has limited but good equipment. Excellent breakfast. The best part is the rooftop pool and bar on the 7th floor; though be careful, if you go up to the 7th floor you might never leave the hotel, and that would be a shame in this amazing city.

This experience has been one of the best we’ve had in Barcelona. The hotel room felt spacious and all staff members were exceptionally helpful. We are particularly impressed by Front Desk employee Luis and Gema. They were extremely supportive. They greatly aided us with transport and gave us local tips (such as good restaurants, how to take public transport etc.) Gema even personally helped us to arrange our luggage delivery to another hotel in a timely and efficient way. The luggage was closely monitored the whole process until it arrived in our hand. I would highly recommended this real 5 Star Hotel to everyone.
