Rude, Unprofessional, and Disrespectful – Avoid This Hotel
I’ve never experienced such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment from a hotel — especially not from someone in management.
After politely requesting to shift our booking dates (not cancel), we were given inconsistent responses from three different staff, all unwilling to help. We were more than willing to pay the difference.
The worst part? The hotel manager, Mercedes Alcaraz, responded in Spanish — when all communication had been in English — and started with:
“Vaya super mail.”
(“Wow, what a super email.”)
Then she sarcastically implied that since we had already paid a lot, adding another night shouldn’t be a problem for our "budget."
This reply was rude, dismissive, and frankly, racist. Her tone showed zero respect for us as guests.
Also — the room had bed bugs, which my colleague had to kill himself after a long day.
This hotel failed in basic hospitality, communication, and cleanliness. If this is the quality of their management, I don’t trust anything else about this place.
Do not stay here.
