Superb location is the main perk. Facilities are okay, but the bed is really uncomfortable. Also, the reception staff asks to leave the room key with them every time you leave the premises, which is a bit sketchy. No incidents happened, tho.

Very plesant short stay. This is very basic, but perfect for a short solo stay. Everything works! Heating! Exceptional staff! I highly recommend at the price, location is easy from Metro, and also able to catch taxi. I have stayed twice now, it is my go to for location and a day of climatisation, food, chilling - but at a great price.

This was a great budget hotel - the beds were comfy, the room was clean, and the location was amazing, at the edge of the gothic quarter and close to the Metro. It wasn't super quiet, due to the location and the age of the building. We had a little balcony that overlooked a street, some residences and businesses. The folks working the front counter were friendly and helpful. I was worried because some of the reviews are quite harsh, but I think it depends on your expectations and the room type you select. We stayed in a double balcony room with private bathroom. Definitely an older property with some blemishes, but overall a great stay.

This place was all things bad. The place we had booked was for a five night stay on night three they grabbed all our things out of our room and said check out time was today at 10am. I show them the paper on *********** that shows our check out time and date. Which wasn’t today. They still tried to say that it isn’t correct and that we couldn’t get our room back. Let me just say the service was despicable the fact that our paper and *********** and their side of *********** shows the dates that were when we thought we had the room, but they refused to take responsibility. They blamed it on us saying we were the ones that made the mistake. How would that be possible when all our paperwork and your paperwork say differently. Then they gave us a room for one extra night, even though we had two more nights. When I requested a refund for that one night they kept saying we don’t owe anything and refused to refund us back our money. Absolutely ridiculous

I had 2 nights in this lovely pension, it is clean, the room was not very big but just right for 1, with a shower and the price perfect , good situation at the end of La Rambla. I will recommend to anybody who wants to be in the centre of Barcelona.
