It could be because I had the least expensive room, but I spent $500+ for two nights in what turned out to be a glorified youth hostel. I expected a small room, but there was literally no room near the bathroom sink to put anything other than a toothbrush. When I needed to use my laptop there was literally no place to put it, so I had to work from bed. And the emergency alarm went off randomly throughout the night. The front desk woman acknowledged that and was apologetic and she was actually great. So was the location. But other than staff and the location, this place was pretty dreadful.

No recommended. Bad hotel. This hotel is owned by Iraqi businessman Fadel Al-Saegh. This person has bad reputation in Iraq. He is the co-owner of Al-Rasheed hotel in Baghdad and one hotel in Kerbela. He is using Indian and Bengal workers paying them nothing.

Great location and very very very nice staff that give you great help with restaurants. Specially good if you have a rental car as parking is next to the hotel. The rooms are not of a high standard but clean with good ac. For breakfast I recommend a place almost next to the hotel called Suís & Bowls.

This was such an awesome experience. I would highly recommend staying here if you go to Barcelona. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfy! Ours even had 2 balconies. It is tucked in a cozy, lively square with amazing food, coffee shops and bars all around. You feel very immersed in the local culture, not touristy at all. If you stay here I suggest walking around Gràcia, it’s how we discovered some of the best little restaurants. Also the tapas restaurant right below the hotel called Sol Soler, was so so good. All of the staff was so helpful!! Huge thanks to Judith who was extremely kind and accommodating. Will be staying here again!!

Great location. Walking distance to all the things we wanted to see. Loved the balconies in our unit overlooking La Placa Del Sol. Very friendly and helpful Sonder employees during check-in and check-out. Lots to do in the Gracia neighborhood surrounding hotel.

Lovely hotel - friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, and a very clean and spacious room that was serviced daily. We had a view over the square which was great - if noisy on a Friday night! (The hotel provided earplugs.). There's a nice-looking restaurant downstairs, and a very nice roof-top bar. The location is great - surrounded by interesting shops, bars and restaurants. We can't wait to go back!

My girlfriend booked this as an excursion to Barcelona. Absolutely perfect for a city stay. Minimalist room and decor, but with everything you could need for a room to stay between exploring the city! Great vista of the square and beautiful styling throughout, would stay again and recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Barcelona.

Incredibly clean rooms and sheets, the staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved how close it is to local restaurants and appreciated the seamless access we had to the rooftop area. I would definitely visit again. Thanks so much 😊
