Hotel Speranza

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of town. It is family run and anyone in the hospitality business needing any tips on customer care should come and see how Guilla and her father manage this place. Nothing is too much trouble for them or any of the staff. I had the misfortune to cut my foot during my stay but Guilla made sure I received adequate first aid and ensured I was ok. The breakfast is of a high standard and nothing is too much trouble for the waiting staff. The pool area is lovely and set in a nice garden area and as a regular traveler to Spain it was so nice to go to the pool and not find every sun bed reserved with towels. So a massive thank you to the management for looking after us so well. If we return to Lake Garda this is the only hotel we would book into.

This is a lovely family run hotel situated a five minute walk to the ferry and surrounded by lively bars and restaurants. Guilla and her father are very welcoming and so lovely, they are very informative on anything you would like to know. They booked a taxi to pick us up at the airport and then to return which was very convenient for us travelling and one less thing to worry about. The breakfast was exceptional, so very fresh and unlimited. The fresh fruit crumple cake was to die for. Id return just for that again. The hotel was spotlessly clean although our room was very small and at the front of the hotel which was very noisy during early hours with people shouting and laughing coming home from the bars(although Guillia did mention this to us before we booked but thought it would be ok, very mistaken) this however will not stop us booking this little gem of a hotel again as we will ask for rooms out the back of the hotel. This hotel has well maintained gardens and a lovely pool to take a dip in hot weather plus waitress service around the pool. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in old town Borderlino as you certainly wont be disappointed however try to avoid the rooms at the front of hotel because of noise.

We had the best time at Hotel Speranza, if you are looking for a fantastic family hotel then look no further! The staff were incredible, so welcoming and kind with our daughter and the family feel of the hotel is just superb! The pool, outdoor area and hotel are fantastic and the location couldn't be better! We were very disappointed in our room at the Hotel Speranza, it was small, really should only be a single. The air conditioning was not much use, it definitely needs replaced looks very old and didn’t cool the room. The decor was just ok, a wardrobe and desk, no drawers ! However, the bathroom was big for such a small bedroom, and was very clean. There is a very small lift to use as the stairway is spiral therefore only one person can be on it at a time to use handrail. The breakfast room and foyer is lovely and bright and the breakfast is very good. The staff and owners of the hotel are lovely and very helpful, the pool is beautiful and garden. It’s a shame our room was so disappointing which would make us not choose this hotel again for fear of getting the same room.

Schon bei der Ankunft fühlten wir uns herzlich willkommen. Das gesamte Personal ist durchweg ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend – man merkt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft gelebt wird. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Alessandro am Pool, der mit seiner charmanten Art und seinem hervorragenden Service unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich bereichert hat. Unser Zimmer war sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und dabei auch absolut funktional – eine perfekte Kombination. Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Balkon, was für diesen Aufenthalt völlig in Ordnung war. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir aber auf jeden Fall ein Zimmer mit Balkon buchen – einfach um den Aufenthalt noch ein bisschen mehr zu genießen. Auch die hoteleigene Tiefgarage ist ein großer Pluspunkt, gerade in der Hochsaison. Ein echtes Highlight war das Frühstück: eine außergewöhnliche Auswahl, liebevoll präsentiert, mit frischen, hochwertigen Zutaten – so gut haben wir in Italien wirklich noch nie gefrühstückt! Am Pool gibt es zudem kühle Getränke und leckere Snacks – zu den Drinks wurden immer kleine Snacks gereicht, was wir als sehr aufmerksam und angenehm empfunden haben. Außerdem können wir die Pinsa sehr empfehlen – sie war wirklich hervorragend und perfekt für einen entspannten Nachmittag am Pool. Wir können das Hotel Speranza uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein Wiedersehen!

Super goed hotel in het centrum van Bardolino. We twijfelde in eerste instantie omdat het 3* heeft maar door de goede scores toch geboekt. Geen seconde spijt gehad! Wat een leuk klein familiehotel dat in onze ogen 4* waard is al voldoet het niet aan de checklist voorwaarden van een 4* (koelkast op de kamer, 24u receptie, restaurant,…). - Warm onthaal - Super goed ontbijt - Perfecte ligging - Eenvoudige maar propere kamers met producten, föhn en voldoende plaats om spulletjes te zetten - Groot zwembad met voldoende bedjes - Erg vriendelijke bediening aan het zwembad - Prijzen van het drinken en zwembadsnacks zijn eerlijk - Het hotel is zeer netjes en de kamers waren schoon - Het hotel heeft een voldoende ruime betalende ondergrondse parkeergarage - Laadpaal beschikbaar voor een elektrische auto We komen al 17j in Bardolino. Onbegrijpelijk dat we dit niet eerder ontdekt hebben.
