Our 4/5 bedroom, south-facing Tuscan farmhouse offers breathtaking views of the Apuan Alps and the hilltop town of Sommocolonia. With no immediate neighbours, Montate is accessed via a 400m private road, ensuring complete privacy and tranquillity. There is a private heated saltwater pool, various outdoor eating areas and barbecue, and a wonderful sun deck from where you can enjoy the views. It’s perfect for those looking to get away from it all and relax with family and friends. It’s not the best option for those looking to be at the centre of the action, although day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and the beach are all manageable from the house. Barga offers several excellent restaurant/bar options in addition to supermarket and other amenities and a local taxi service is available for those who would prefer not to drive. The property is run by our amazing manager Serena and her family. She lives close by and is on hand throughout your visit to help with any questions or issues at the house and can also help enhance your stay by helping you with local advice and bookings for trips or restaurants.
