This is the filthiest and smelly property I have ever stayed in , we only stayed one night instead of 3 as it was so bad We did horse bed and breakfast , paddocks were poor quality , appalling fencing and full of old horse poo The property was very dirty , there were 3 fridges and all had mouldy food in . There were no functioning smoke alarms or fire extinguisher or instructions . We were treated by a manager who left after 30 Minutes leaving us alone in the property

We stayed for three nights in February. We received a warm welcome but felt the accommodation was overpriced. Only basic toiletries provided (no conditioner) - the heated towel rail needed bleeding so the bathroom was not as warm as it could be - the coffee (jar) provided was solid and the bedding was 'tired'. The breakfast was fine... there were LOTS of books to read and the internet worked well. - No evening meals were on offer (we knew this in advance, but the information on line suggests they may be available). It was at a 'grey' time of year - we're sure the whole area would be beautiful later on.

What an amazing place! This is a real country B&B. The hosts are absolutely delightful. Lady Wrey and her husband, Sir George, are incredibly friendly and have a great sense of humor. The room we stayed in was beautiful, with thoughtful interior decoration that included a lovely en-suite bathroom with high-quality fixtures and fittings. For readers, there is an ample supply of well-chosen books. If you enjoy the company of country people, waking up to birdsong and the whinnying of horses, this is the place for you. I’m also hoping to get invited to their private shoot— fingers crossed! However, if your ideal holiday is in Dubai and your go-to destination for cosmetic medical procedures is Turkey, you would be better suited to the Travelodge down the road. The highlight of our weekend away was sharing breakfast with a very sweet shetland pony, Jumbo!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming BnB in Devon! The property is beautifully kept, blending comfort and style with the tranquil beauty of the Devon countryside. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, providing little touches that made the experience even more special. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and catered to all our needs. Whether you're looking to explore Devon or simply relax, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommend!

We had a very enjoyable 2 nights at this charming farm. Our room was a lovely recently converted barn en suite with lots of nice personal touches. The hosts were very friendly on our arrival and throughout. There is lots of hustle and bustle around the farm/farm yard with all the liveries looking after their horses. The location is excellent if you want to hit north Devon's famous beaches/cliff walks. I was a fan of the poached eggs, in particular! We would certainly go again.

Another delightful visit to Hollamoor - everyone is so kind, welcoming and friendly. Set in its own secret world, it is the perfect escape, yet close to the fabulous beaches and wonderful coastline of North Devon. Meals are always delicious and the people are witty, original and no bland cardboard cutouts.

Delightfully situated within easy reach of Exmoor and the north Devon coast. Our accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Nikki the housekeeper was very helpful. Unfortunately Caroline and George were away when we visited but we hope to meet them on our next visit.

Great place to stay in north Devon. I visited with my son and stayed 2 nights. The house is on an estate where Caroline breeds Muscovy ducks and George cooks a lovely breakfast with fresh eggs (the creamiest egg whites ever). The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom is en-suite and up to date. Caroline and George made us feel totally welcome and greeted us with a cup of tea and a nice chat in the kitchen on our arrival. Fantastic way to get away from city life for a little while.

The lovely thing is, as you arrive at the house, you see ducks waddling over the lawn, white doves sitting on the roof tops and endless song birds eating from the bird feeders. My husband said “This feels like France”. Truly peaceful and welcoming. A great retreat for a mini break. Very warm hosts. Breakfast was delicious and we were allowed to keep anything extra in their fridges (we are both gluten-free and vegetarians). Our visit to Clovelly was so memorable. Rosemoor is equally sensational, the RHS garden and so close by. We’re coming back! Probably the best bnb we have ever stayed in.
