Stayed here overnight to attend a friend's special event, which was 5miles away. Bedroom was large and spacious. Ensuite bathroom was also spacious, more a wet room, though. The hosts were amazing. I messaged them on route with a question and they replied quickly. We were asked what time we'd like our breakfast, which was a nice touch. The breakfast room was welcoming, with amazing views of the countryside. The cooked breakfasts were very tasty. The only things that weren't so great were the green light by the bedroom door, which came on automatically in the evening, making it difficult to get to sleep. (I'm not sure if this is a disability emergency light). We also discovered that when the upstairs guest flushed their toilet, the pipes made a noise down the side of our wall. The noise was so loud that it woke me in the night. Would I stay here again? Certainly, the owners are a smashing couple

Wonderful stay very nice rooms the view is amazing I like how they have the breakfasts out throughout the whole day I seating area with the TV overlooking the view spacious rooms and get a full English in the morning staff always reply as soon as possible

The room was clean and warm(on a cold Janaury night). Good sized room with a nice shower and comfortable bed. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and will book on my next visit to the area.

Had a lovely nights stay here, very cosy room, well equipped & homely. Parking is great & there are stunning views. Heather & Neil, the hosts, were very friendly & lovely locally sourced breakfast. The Cock O Barton is within walking distance & would recommend a meal there too.

What an absolutely amazing place! Beautiful stay from start to finish. Heather, the host was so lovely and inviting. Great communication too, text message on the morning of our arrival giving all the necessary details. The full English breakfast was superb. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Higher Farm B&B.

I have stayed here several times, breaking a journey from South Wales to Cumbria. Heather and Neil are brilliant hosts who are welcoming and good company. The setting is wonderful, with far reaching views towards North Wales. The beds are very comfortable, as is the other furniture. The showers are excellent and the standard of cleanliness is high. Now, the breakfast - it is undoubtedly one of the best I have had in any hotel or other accommodation that I have stayed in! We are repeat visitors - when you find a good thing, use it!

Thank you to hosts Heather and Wendy for a great stay at Higher Farm which included a surprise upgrade to Meadow room and the use of a firebowl over at the shepherds hut. Room was large with lovely comfy bed, 2 armchairs, tv and tea making facilities. There is a door to the garden which was stiff to open and the path needs to be cleared so as not to bring any flowers in with you. Shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was spot on, cornflakes, followed by full English and toast, set me up for the day. The gardens have a beautiful outlook to the countryside, there is ample parking also. The local pub is a 2 minute walk away serving food with good outside space. Would definitely return.

We stayed in "The Stables" room with-in the main B&B it was perfect, great facilities in the room, breakfast was spot on so tasty and plenty of choice. We were then lucky enough to stay in one of the Shepherds huts on our second night stay, it blew us away the 50s style decor is excellent everything was perfect so much so we have already booked our next 2 night stay in one of the other huts. Highly recommend. Heather, Neil and Wendy are perfect hosts. Nicola & Jamie x
