The room is new nicely designed and super clean. Parking is next to the roon and the location is in front of the sea, you jast need to cross thr road. It was a nice stop on our trip.

We booked the two bedroom Vista suite at the front of the property. MISTAKE. Road noise from Beach Road is excessive. Couldn't imagine holidays and peak season.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Isla! Cass was so helpful in helping any questions we had. The rooms were clean, quiet and well stocked with everything to make your stay pleasant. The well stocked cantina was a great touch with having ice cubes, sparkling water and still water on tap. The ease of check in and ability to contact someone at any time was reassuring. The hotel compendium was very helpful outlining the surroundings and options on where to go! Thanks so much and we will be back again to stay in the Grande suite!

Absolutely loved this cute hip hotel that we discovered on our road trip from Melb to the Sunshine Coast. Batemans Bay was to be our first stop. No reception desk at this hotel, you call their number and they answer immediately, we spoke with a delightful, bright young lady on the phone, who made checkin a breeze. Once inside after receiving a code number, again easy, the room was super cool, we loved the colour scheme, it’s been really well decorated- great job guys!! The wet weather didn’t permit us to look around the town but so glad we pulled up to this hotel. Oh and the beautiful orange creeper out the front was in full bloom - stunning !

Check in was difficult
The biggest issue for me was the "no reception" check in process. It took about fifteen tries to pass through the process as the system would not accept my phone number and the phone number was a required field. Finally I noticed that the 'default' field was set to Barbados for some unknown reason, the flag being very nearly invisible on the phone I was trying to register with. When I did get to the site it took about fifteen tries to get the code on the door to work.

We booked 2 rooms last minute and the price was excellent. So good that we wondered what the rooms would actually be like. We needn't have worried because the rooms were excellent. The decor is so good. The burned brass fittings, the attention to detail, the amenities.....so good!!! The attention to detail to make the guest comfortable was impressive for a 3 star hotel. The bed is super comfy and the pillows were so good we reached out to the hotel to ask where they bought them. Super clean and great location. I honestly highly recommend this property.
