This hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka. Everything was just perfect: the beach, the restaurant, the service and all amenities. We stayed in a private garden villa , the room was super clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast had a big variety of healthy meals, lunch and dinner menu is very good, has a big choice of fresh fish and seafood. The service was just excellent! Highly recommend to go to cinema under the stars and enjoy a movie on the beach. Will definitely recommend this place to friends.

Great place to chill out on the beach. Attentive Italian manager who makes a point of checking with guests most days. The butler is superb and fixed any niggles. Lovely food even if kitchen is a bit slow sometimes. Spa is really good value and first class.

It is an ideal place to enjoy undisturbed proximity to nature and unpretentious luxury, attentive but unobtrusive service. The hotel, although not brand new, is decorated with good taste and is carefully daily maintained. The territory is very spacious, with beautiful plants and organised in such a way that you practically do not feel other guests. The arrangement of the houses makes you feel as if you are alone by the ocean, in its immediate vicinity. We especially liked that everywhere in the hotel territory, except for the indoor areas, there are no concrete or asphalt paths, but there are well-groomed beach sand paths, which are surrounded by greenery. The hotel has less than 20 rooms, we lived in an ocean villa/tent, but there are also garden villas, which are facing away from the ocean. The houses are partly tents, spacious, well and tastefully decorated with everything you need. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The outdoor shower room with flowers was especially beautiful. The hotel pool is long and deep, you can really swim in it, not just dip in. The pool area, although quite small, is also comfortably furnished and has everything that a good hotel should have. There always were free sunbeds as every villa has it's own sunbeds and guests are mainly staying there. The hotel staff is well trained, very attentive and pleasant in communication. We especially want to praise and thank our personal assistant Malshan Wijewardana, this young man's professionalism, accuracy and wisdom far exceed his position in the hotel! I also want to note the spa masseuse Bianca (I appologize if I slightly modified her name). Although the spa area is quite simply organised and decorated, Bianca did her job brilliantly every time I was there. The a la carte breakfast had a wide selection for every taste, our various wishes were only met with a warm response. Since there are only various plantations in the area, we also ate lunch and dinner here. Food and drinks are not cheap at all for such a remote place, but all the dishes were of restaurant quality. It should be noted that there was also very good coffee here. As a disadvantage, the location of the air conditioner in the room should be noted. It is located on the ground next to the bed and it is impossible to leave it turned on so that it does not blow directly into your face. So all 5 nights we slept without conditioner. We recommend moving the air conditioner to the bathroom area, then it will cool the tent evenly and unobtrusively. Another warning is about the ocean rip currents. Read and learn about these currents, watch the ocean very carefully for 15 minutes to understand if the place you want to enter, does not have ocean rip currents. The beach is very wide, you can choose where to go swimming. It is best to do it in the shallow areas, which are every 50 meters on this beach.
