Four Points by Sheraton Batam recensioner

It's a mere 10 mins car ride from harbour bay ferry terminal. We booked 2 rooms and requested for connecting room, the beds in twin room were huge cos they combined 2 super single beds. Service was pretty good 8/10 for me, though some junior staff were not so experienced or conversant in english but they tried their best. Told 1 service staff that we were short of 1 set of cutlery, he nodded and went into the kitchen, came out but resumed with his usual duties. I wasnt sure if he understood or he forgot about my request but i approached another staff who quickly attended to our request. We stayed for 2 nights and both breakfast menu were the same. There werent much choice at the breakfast table given it is a 4-star hotel. I stayed during the vesak day long holiday weekend and surprisingly it wasnt as crowded as i expected, in fact tables are readily available when i went at 9.30am. Pool is small and the kids complained of pool residue when they showered. Ordered grab food and they will call to ask if we would prefer self collection or have it delivered to the room. Water pressure was low and i took double the time to shower. If u are not fussy with the water pressure, it's quite a nice place to stay.

The night market around the hotel is kinda dubious please be very careful of the belongings.. Other than that the room is good. Places that we are going to are very accessible by grab.

Food was good in terms of breakfast but to take note the towels has blood stains on them. Also the service of the hotel staff was not as good as they checked me in late 30 mins late despite already being there at 3.30pm. The beds are horrible it gave me pain on my neck and back. Also to note the hotel is relatively small and rooms are small. The location is in the middle of some bazaar and loads of bars cafes and traffic which will be grinded with noise from singers to beeping of horns. My bets are to avoid entirely staying here altogether.

13/5 We reach hotel by 2pm and able to do an early check in the Hotel is well maintain and looks just having some partial interior renovation and room is so spacious and the hotel surprisingly you may choose smoking room and non smoking room during check in. this hotel outside view mayb is not as good as other brand new hotel facing nice sea view etc but but this hotel ambience really make me feel welcoming safe like a home with a great staff from a front desk reception, chef until a housekeeping a so polite. We requested a smooking room and surprisingly even a smoking room the room doesn’t have any weird smell i know because im not a smoker so i can differentiate 😅. The room is so spacious among other big brand hotels in batam and at town area that can i mention so worth the price and the hotel does provide some hotel which is gym, pool, spa and cafe like other hotel. whenever we keep on in and out the whoever stuff that saw us will politely greet us wherever we are. On the next day we went for breakfast located at 1st floor, that a 3 people st the front then one of them guide us to the table while walk to the table they explained to us where and the food located. On that morning the restaurant was not so crowded i guess due to low peak season or fall on weekday so everything went smoothly and calm untill we do for check out and whenever i go back to batam again I look forward to stay in sheraton with different room type thank you for having me on my short trip !

We had a pleasant stay, clean room and bathroom… the room is spacious. Breakfast and dinner is excellent, alot of choices. Staff are friendly and polite. It was a great experience staying at four points batam Staff A.YU has be attentive & generous towards us by recommending stuff around batam and she has a very friendly and welcoming attitude throughout our stay. ❤️😊

Location not very convenient. Hotel is clean and staff helpful.

Overall is acceptable but breakfast not so much of foods varieties need to improve.

Central hotel not much place to visit and shopping with. Need more in house programs

Very good service especially by the cafe restaurant during the breakfast buffet, something you must Try! They even have suprise From trolley during your dining like Bar Attack where they give you Special drinks to test

Very big and nice room. Look very new also.. Just that I was not given a smoking room when I ask for it.

great place and great service. place are so so but it is very clean room, and the amenities provided are all complete.

Great service and smile from the front desk. We also went down to the hotel lounge late in the evening and the staff went all out to provide great service even when we are the only group there.

Could rotate breakfast menu; instead of same menu every morning? Staff having breakfast in Cafe at 9:45 am needs to observe decorum……
