This hotel is modest. Sure it needs some updating and groundskeeping but the area is serene, has prestige sunset views from the mountain top, the dinner was delicious and Mr. Peter, the owner, and staff are exceptional! Most importantly the room was clean, the sheets smelled great and was equipped with everything you need.

The place was so clean, quiet and friendly environment. The staff were so welcoming and polite. The oriental food matches the environment. The classic home of hotel owner was still there including all furniture used and kitchen primitive equipment

Spent New Years Eve at this hotel with a tour into the White Desert. Please call Peter for specific driving directions to reach the hotel from Cairo. We drove ourselves with no problems, having U.S. Passports. Five hours from Cairo to the hotel via Sheikh Zayed, and 4 hours on way back via 6th of October. Do not self drive via Mena. Road is in excellent condition, newly paved. Two gas stations on the drive between Cairo and the Oasis. Peter is an outstanding host, well organized, and with good wine in Peter's bar. The hiking behind the hotel is excellent, lots to see in the Black Desert. The one-night safari to white desert was incredible. Reminder that there is a 750LE or so fee per person that has to be paid to a ranger in the White Desert, normally at the famous rock. Dont miss crystal mountain.

The positive points: the hotel is clean, breakfast simple but sufficient. Negative points: the rooms definitely need a face lift, especially the bathrooms, looks like my grandparents bathroom 30 years ago, no tv at all, the one in the reception doesn't work, water flow in the taps very poor

Everything worked excellent with them since the first contact. They picked us in Cairo and when we arrived we went directly to the Black and White desert. Our guide, Tamr, was an amazing driver, guide and cook! In the return we stayed one night in the hotel, which is simple but cozy. They are also specialized in tours to Gilf Kebir (depicted in the English Patient movie), although currently tours are not being allowed there. Could not thank enough Peter and Miharu for the outstanding service.

Beaucoup trop cher par rapport aux prestations proposées et aux hôtels environnants. Personnel très gentil et serviable, mais hôtel et jardin peu entretenus. Pas de ménage des chambres, l’excuse Covid est éculée en Novembre 2022 ! Équipement des chambres sommaire, la télé cathodique n’a pas d’âge.
