Lovely atmosphere in the apartment and home of Philippe and Nathalie We stayed 5 nights here, The breakfast were a highlight delivered in a basket; croissants , fresh fruit , crêpes, Philippe drove us to our car hire and tour bus as taxis and Uber didn’t seem easy to get . Bayeux is a nice sized town to visit , nice restaurants , patisseries and boutiques ! I would definetly recommend this experience at the La Paresse en ville . Best wishes , Nicki and Hugh

My wife and I stayed in the cottage at La Paresse en Ville for 3 nights while visiting the Normandy area. What a charming place! Philippe and Nathalie are such wonderful hosts. The cottage was amazing, beautifully decorated. who can resist a yummy picnic basket at your door for breakfast? They have the warmest personalities and gave us great advice regarding restaurants and other towns to visit....we loved spending time with you both! it felt like home -we will come back!

After travel chaos that meant 43 hours in airports/planes, arriving at this incredibly peaceful oasis was pure joy. We slept so soundly! Nathalie & Philippe thought of every detail to make our stay wonderful. The breakfasts are delivered in a basket each morning & they provide fantastic info on local restaurants & things to do. We appreciate them so much for restoring our excitement in our journey after its tumultuous start!

Our lovely hosts, Phillipe and Nathalie, were sooo accommodating. Easy to deal with and so helpful. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed. They provided a great breakfast and had a good coffee machine with pods. We got tips about what to see around town too. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone..

What a little gem of a hotel. We stayed here 3 nights and we didn't want to leave. The heated pool and tranquility of the property left us the most relaxed of our whole trip. The hosts, Nathalie and Phillipe were on hand if we ever needed them but they also gave us our privacy. Thank you from Stephen, Jillian and Alex

What a lovely week we spent at La Paresse en Ville. Nathalie and Philippe Colin were the best hosts ever. They made themselves available whenever we needed them.They offered recommendations for restaurants and places to see nearby. We stayed in The Cottage and loved it. Tastefully decorated and everything you could need! Each morning we looked forward to our breakfasts of eggs, croissants with jam, fresh fruit and coffee and tea. We were focused on the D-Day beaches and this was a perfect place to use as a base.

Nathalie and Philip are wonderful hosts. There were 4 couples and we rented all four rooms. It was perfect. There was a lovely breakfast basket each morning, and each evening we could use the large outdoor space to prepare and eat dinner. It is close to shopping for food and a 15 minute walk to the center of Bayeux. It was a great stay!

You want friendly but discreet hosts? Original and tasteful décor? Delicious breakfast delivered to your door? Outdoor kitchen, pool and jacuzzi in a garden that feels like an oasis? Peace and quiet just a 20-minute walk from the charms of downtown Bayeux? Then book here. We stayed at 5 different places during our vacation and this one was so great that it has changed my whole rating philosophy. If it's not as good as La Paresse en Ville, it is not getting 5 stars.

Fantástico alojamiento con unos anfitriones muy agradables. Apartamento muy coqueto con camas muy cómodas y limpieza impecable. Puedes cocinar en una cocina que hay en el jardín y comer o cenar alli y es muy agradable. Piscina exterior climatizada en un jardín fantástico y mucha tranquilidad.
