This is an experience. The care of the staff, the grounds, the location. They 'punch above their weight'. Enjoy. Everything is walking distance and access to the roads out of town are easy. It was perfect! If you are reluctant to buy a breakfast package, their baguettes are the best we had in France.

The hotel is very charming. It is a quick and easy walk from the train station and into town. We had a spacious bedroom equipped with a comfortable king-size bed. Front desk staff is really friendly. Nelson is very efficient and helpful. Will come back!

From check in to check out the staff were excellent, courteous and caring. The room was very nice and spotless. Bed very comfortable. Shower was lovely and worked well. Breakfast was continental but there was nothing missing, coffee nice and hot. We had drinks on the patio overlooking the garden to end our day. Excellent place to base yourself for a visit to the area.

Domaine de Bayeux is a quiet, comfortable, and absolutely lovely haven a short distance from the center of Bayeux. We stayed four nights, occupying rooms in both the original building (which offers breathtaking views of the grounds and a classically French setting) and the Orchard rooms, which are more modern rooms with AC and equally beautiful views. The professionalism of the staff, the delicious and bountiful breakfast, and the outstanding quality of the rooms were highlights of our stay. Highly recommended as a “base” for exploring Normandy!

This bed and breakfast is beautiful. The garden is full of flowers and the hotel is very clean. We stayed in the Orchard section and our room was big. The beds were comfortable and the room had great WiFi. This hotel is in a great location. It is only a 5 minute walk from the train station and a very short walk to the Cathedral, the Tapestry Museum, restaurants, and shops in the town. We walked about 10 minutes to meet our tour group for our day trip to Normandy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend a stay at Domaine de Bayeux.

Having stayed two nights in their Hotel that is a convenient 10 minute walk to town, and specifically in their modern Orchard Extension patio style accommodations, I would definitely return to book with them again when visiting Bayeux. The room and bathroom areas were generously oversized, well appointed with modern conveniences and surrounded by luscious gardens. The staff is exceptional, the breakfast buffet fresh and yummy; especially the fresh local fruit, the bar/ lounge area warm and inviting. Merci beaucoup. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel and location. A 5 minute walk to where the tour shuttles leave from as well as the train station and downtown. Hotel is a wonderful older building with modern additional buildings as well. Staff is fantastic. Highly recommended!

Third visit in four years. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Wonderful welcome; delightful centuries old Manor House which has been upgrade with superb sympathy for the original gem. Delightful breakfast; delightful and extremely helpful team to look after your, perhaps unusual, needs. At the basic level, you can enjoy free parking and a modest walk into the town.

Superb hotel. We stayed in the room on the 3rd floor. Large sleeping area, double sinks, large shower, air conditioning . Great staff and very helpful. . Excellent location in Bayeux. Highly recommended. Very nice grounds in back of hotel. Afternoon drinks offered. Very nice breakfast with freshly baked goods.
