Candlewood Suites Baytown

at one point and time i thought this hotel was a nice hotel, but all that has changed. the hotel really doesn't care about BLACKS staying there. they will go into your room Unannounced and without you knowing. they will wait until you leave out of the room and go in right behind you looking into your personal stuff etc. they will lie too and say they are doing room checks 2 make sure everything is working. the front desk have told all housekeepers not 2 serve the rooms with blacks staying in them. they watch all black folks very close. they have not given me my points from any of my stays. if you are a black person do not stay at this hotel. they will throw you out and don't care if you have somewhere 2 go are not. they will put u out for all major events, and they don't care. if you are in the Baytown TX area are passing thru and your black do not stay at this hotel. you will be lied too and miss treated.

We stayed here for 5 nights and 6 days. We enjoyed it because people were very friendly and always there whenever we needed anything. Yes, they do not serve breakfast, but your apartment suite is yours to use, with a full size fridge, stove with burners, microwave, and lots of storage space for you to buy what you want to use during the time you are there. They do not service on a daily basis BUT you can ask for whatever you need, even if you want towels every day. The bed was comfy and you could chose between soft or firm pillows. Great choices for channels on the TV. Only complaint is that I thought the cupboard where you could buy food was sparse but there is a Kroger grocery across the street where you can buy what you will need. This is an extended stay hotel.
