Le Rodin Bazas

A wonderful place to stay - so close to the square - Fenella our host and owner a fellow Kiwi was so friendly and offered us such a warm welcome - Recently renovated, Le Rodin is perfect - it has a carpark free and safe right opposite the hotel and also an attached laundrette - very ideal - Fenella had great knowledge of the local area and history and connections with the local restaurants - she booked our dinner for us recommending where to go and we enjoyed meeting her over a drink there prior. Fenella has thought of every little detail - as someone who has spent lots of time in hotels she knew how to reflect this - USB ports, air con, double glazing, beautiful amenities, shelving to place your things,good shower pressure, and AMAZING TV availability- not just French it was international - you could even watch your own netflix - the room we had at the top of the stairs on the right was light and quiet -breakfast was amazing. Thankyou we cant wait to come back to beautiful Bazas! and we will certainly be staying here! Thanks Fenella x Michelle and Ric NZ

Back in January we somewhat randomly booked two nights for late May at Le Rodin based on the many glowing reviews. They were not wrong. Tastefully renovated by a host who can’t do enough for you. All mod-cons in the rooms. Probably one of the quietest, comfies, cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Bazas is very nice too. Quintessential France with a lovely town square, stunning old church at one end, several bars and restaurants surround the square. We had drinks at one and ate at two others. All very good. Give Bazas and Le Rodin a try.

Le Rodin is a great little hotel, very conveniently located, if you're on your way from Brittany to the Pyrenees. It's been renovated very nicely, to a very high and modern standard - multi-sockets with USB ports and touch night lights -, and in our opinion it deserves 4*! The bed and sheets were very comfortable, too, and of high quality and very soft, the room had a decent size and the shower was also fantastic. And the owner and her team were super friendly and welcoming and made us a great breakfast, with croissants, pain de chocolate, baguette, home-made fruit salad and even gluten free bread and oat milk for me and very good coffee. Very attentive, thoughtful and a nice touch. We'll definitely be back if we'll be in this area again and can highly recommend Le Rodin.

Pour une première visite à Bazas, l'hôtel Rodin est excellent Accueil très agréable et des hôteliers avec un dévouement exemplaire. Chambre spacieuse avec une jolie salle de bain, salon confortable et un petit déjeuner très copieux pour les gourmands. Un hôtel très paisible et reposant.. the BEST

Hôtel très sympathique, très agréable, très propre, accueillant, personnel à l'écoute et très gentille.. Petit déjeuner irréprochable...tres très calme, chambre 14 magnifique avec une literie qui sentait très bon et très confortable
