607 Bay Inn Downtown Beaufort

607 On Bay is a must stay when you come to Beaufort, SC. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The views to the Beaufort River and a short walk to downtown makes this. the perfect getaway spot. The owners and staff are simply the best. We will definitely be back to stay at this wonderful Inn.

Wish we could have stayed more than one night. Checked in flawlessly late Friday (7pm). We were met by the wonderful manager who promptly escorted us to our room. After ensuring everything was in order, left saying he’s only a phone call away. Great southern hospitality. Room #3 was very large and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. Oh but the shower….it was one of those really forceful shower heads and I was in heaven. Plenty of coffee this am and relaxing on the front porch was Southern Living magazine at its best. We cannot wait to return to Beaufort and pray they will have availability. Well done Bay Inn.

Very comfortable room, perfect location! We were very impressed with how quaint our room was yet very modern at the same time! We could walk to everything and anything! Kristen was an outstanding and gracious host! Highly recommend this Inn for anyone who visits the beautiful city of Beaufort!

A very nice clean place to stay with a good location right on the waterfront. It was listed as a bed and breakfast but it isn’t. All we got were two $8 vouchers for a bagel place and a coffee shop. Also the inn keeper was noticeably absent. No one was there for recommendations or to answer questions. We were mostly on our own with no advice on what to see or where to eat. The experience was disappointing.

Very comfortable rooms with a nice view from the porch and balcony. Room was clean, we were on the 2nd floor and enjoyed easy access to the balcony. There is a small refrigerator and a coffee service in the hall. There is some road noise at night but not all night. Communication prior to arrival was good, however, we did find it not as accommodating after check-in as we had to communicate via text. Response was slow and not very detailed. We did have some confusion with our breakfast vouchers as the restaurant took them on the first day, which left us without vouchers for the second day. We had 2 bottles of water on arrival but these were not replenished during the remainder of our stay, which was a topic of conversation as other guests had the same concern. It was nice to have the refrigerators available for cold items we brought with us. Our only issue with not having on site assistance was not getting concerns addressed quickly and/or not at all, otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay in a super location. The guest house and set up was super cool with private bedrooms and bathrooms, and some shared kitchenette, amenities, big front porches for breezes and views. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Great parking and privacy in the back. We are able to walk to all the restaurants and shops and the waterfront. The communication in advance of the stay and the personal interaction from the end keepers made this super stress-free. Highly recommend this to anybody traveling to Beaufort.
