We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Sambell Caravan Park. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our site and assisted with backing in. The walks around the lake were lovely and sunsets spectacular. One of the things that impressed us was the cleanliness of the park. The amenities were absolutely spotless and the rubbish bins ( there were plenty of them) were emptied every day.

Missed our annual Christmas trip in 2023 so was great to be back in Beechworth’s best caravan park again! Our 20th visit over the past 9 years! Warm welcome from Roger & Sue, Kim & Jackie as always. Kids getting older and harder to entertain but a few cricket matches with other guests soon sorted the boys out! Overall a great trip as always and highly recommend Lee & Zoe

Wow what can I say Excellent. Clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are great very accessible. The service was excellent and nothing was a problem. It is only a 20 minute walk into town which is very picturesque and relaxing. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. It is pet friendly and has a wonderful coffee van that comes first thing every morning

Beautiful setting, easy check in, escorted to site and assist to park van from Kim was great. Very friendly team. Facilities were clean and spacious, great laundry and camp kitchen. I would return to Beechworth, the town is fantastic for a week long stay.

Always a pleasure camping at Lake Sambel CP. Great friendly/Informative service at the office and on site, clean, well-positioned camp sites with plenty of space, facilities for cooking/BBQ under cover, clean showers/toilets/laundry facilities. Great location, out of town but well within walking distance with several walks to choose from, all scenic. There are some wonderful mountain bike tracks nearby for the cyclists for all levels, great rides available for the serious road cyclists. Located right next to a beautiful lake with a small beach, great for recreational boating, swimming, fishing. Overall, I find the place very comfortable, welcoming and friendly environment, great for families, great for friends, couples, or individuals.

This caravan park is in a beautiful location in this historic town. The facilities are excellent, very clean & very good condition. A staff member actually goes with you to your site after you've checked in which is very helpful but it doesn't happen at many parks. Also it was good to see plenty of recycling bins. A professionally run facility, well done.

Great staff.We were on a powered site. We were guided to our site and guided to back in. So heloful. Close to town hisoticngial and Beechworth attractions. Coffee cart on site weekends not too sure if weekdays. Stayed oreviously will be back Dog friendly also.

This was a busy, but quiet park (we had a powered site). It was close to town with beautiful views of Lake Sambell & good walking tracks. The amenities were so clean & well maintained & the staff very busy maintaining the grounds as well. Being escorted to our site was a bonus & helpful when trying to work out how big the site is & where to park our motor home. Thank you

Nice quiet park with a few sites near the river but only 2 sites have a direct view. Near the lake sites there is an old historic amenities block thats mostly no roof just a roof over toilet cubicles but they are clean and there is a demountable shower block with 3 showers. It’s a short walk to the nicer amenities from lake sites. They have free putt putt which is a bit of fun and it’s a nice walk around the lake where you can also swim. A lot to see in the area which is a short drive.
