Our first visit to Lauswolt, a surprise for my partner, was a fantastic experience. The setting of the whole is very pleasant and quiet, the room was very comfortable and spacious, excellent bed, as well shower as bath, balcony; in- and outdoor pool, enjoyable meal in an excellent restaurant that merits its star and score. Fabulous breakfast. All the staff very kind and helpfull. Very nice price/quality relation. Must be recommended!

This is a gorgeous hotel that seems frequented predominantly by Dutch people. As a five star hotel--and deserved overall--I was shocked that on a small shelf outside each room there was a cheap fake flower. This during tulip season, no less! That's not very five star. In addition, we had odd service failures, such as no one offering to help with our luggage on arrival, being abandoned by our waiter halfway through dinner, having dirty dishes pile up at breakfast, a maid bringing two extra pillows without pillowcases, and a safe in the room that needed new batteries. Despite all, this is still a beautiful place to stay.

Yes staying here is a bit pricy, but you get a lot too. The place is tranquil, relaxed, far from busy cities and busy roads, it has a Michelin star restaurant (super!), champagne breakfast, free hotel bikes, a swimming pool indoor that flows into the outdoor pool and ... the friendliest attentive staff you can think of. Who expects sun creme and waters for on the road in a bike bag with the free hotel bikes and a staff member adjusting the height of the saddle before you go biking. Chapeau... 5* indeed!

Our stay in Lauswolt with our family was a great experience. Friendly personnel excellent breakfast and diner is a fantastic estate. What else can you wish

What a lovely place. High level of service, junior suite was perfection and the food excellent. And with a unique golf course on site.

The surrounding area and the manor are beautiful and the room was very clean and spacious, however, during our stay we didn’t get the 5-star, nor a “luxurious” experience at all when staying at this hotel and dinning at the Michelin star restaurant De Heeren van Harinxma The spa area was not clean nor relaxing at all. It was full of children diving into the pool. There was not enough staff to ensure the common area rules were respected or to keep the place tidy with even towels or water (something basic in a spa area) for all guests to enjoy. The must disappointing thing however, was the irrelevance the management team from the hotel gave to ours and other guest complaints about the mess and the noise in what ‘was supposed’ to be a wellness center. It felt like a cheap holiday at a very busy yet small water park. Considering this is supposed to be one of the biggest amenities of this hotel (according to travel guides, other reviews or even the association with a high-brand as Orlane) the wellness center of lauswolt provided no better experience than the one on the local gym sauna. The Michelin star experience at the restaurant was ok. The menu explanation was very vague but in the end the food was alright, it was really loud however, with all the children running around like in an average fast food restaurant. Definitely not what we were expecting, definitely not what we were looking to celebrate a special occasion. For a 5 star hotel and a 1 star Michelin restaurant, if I could provide some feedback based on how our experience went: -It is understandable that sometimes there are things outside the hotel team’s control, however, the way the situation is approached and comments or feedback from guests are processed or handled, specially when dealing with an unpleasant situation does make a difference. This is basic hospitality management. And it leaves a really bad aftertaste if these are not taken seriously, specially if disregarded with a tone of indifference. -At the end, customers are paying to get the quality experience (the one promoted in TripAdvisor, Lekker, Vialuxury, other magazines, etc) but overall what we got as key takeaways were that the management and the hotel team are not fully committed to the idea of a 5 star hotel, that their approach towards non-Dutch speaking, international customers perhaps was not the same, which lead to this attitude of indifference and that perhaps the times at Landgoed Lawsolt are no longer grand. In all ways, I cannot say I feel happy with the decision about staying here and that it did left a bitter taste of an experience, for what was intended to be a great weekend planned for a very special occasion to celebrate. Please retrospect on this comment as the hotel is beautiful and has a great potential, however is something is true, first impressions matter and do make a difference, unfortunately Lauswolt didn’t leave a good one in our case.

I invited my family to celebrate my 70th aniversary for dinner and overnight. Great stay, great staff, mostly appreciated!

This place is every inch hospitality. Here you are a name not a roomnumber. And two very good restaurants make that you can stay longer

We stayed at Landgoed Lauswolt 2 nights because of our 50 year marriage celebration. It is a beautiful venue with very professional and friendly staff at all levels. Breakfast, lunch and diner in the Michelin restaurant was a very pleasant experience. Some for example for the very professional wellness centre. We for sure will come back.

Excellent service in the bistro! Chapeau for the lovely young lady! We had a beautiful room, however above the kitchen .... Great breakfast; all was there except fresh orange juice Will definately come back! Peaceful and lovely people there
