Jinjiang Inn (Beijing Guangqumen)

Stayed 5 nights here, small room but cosy and clean. Daily housekeeping and 24hr front desk, lifts and clean shower and toilet area

The room was clean and location just few minutes to the subway. The staff was very kind and helpful !

Location: 5/5 The hotel’s location is excellent—it’s very close to Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and even the Wangfujing shopping area, which is walkable if you enjoy exploring on foot like I do. Nearby, there’s also a lovely jogging park along the river, which was a big plus for me since I love starting my day with a morning run. Cleanliness: 4/5 The room was clean, and housekeeping did a good job changing the towels daily. However, you’ll need to request toothbrushes and other toiletries from the front desk. Service: 4/5 The front desk staff were very helpful. While English communication was limited, they made sure to understand and address my questions. Amenities: 4/5 My room had all the basics: slippers, water bottles, tea, coffee, a worktable, and a TV. The shower had both hot and cold water, along with provided shampoo, body soap, and even two packets of detergent—a thoughtful touch! Breakfast: 3/5 The breakfast was good, but the selection was nearly the same every day, which got a bit repetitive. Noise Level: 2/5 The biggest downside was the soundproofing—you can hear almost everything from the hallway and neighboring rooms, which was quite disruptive. no Overall: 4/5 Despite the noise issue, I had a very pleasant stay thanks to the great location, helpful staff, and comfortable amenities. I’ve stayed with Jinjiang inn before in Shanghai and this is the second time. Very consistent and affordable room. Clean and perfect for solo travellers. Perfect 3 night stay. Look forward to book again for next trip.

Very convenient, located at 10-minute walk from a subway station close to the center, with links to the train station also, Clean room with everything you need for a good stay, On-site restaurant offers good and hearty meals for an affordable price, I recommend 100% 🙂

On my first day, I went to the restaurant to have buffet breakfast I spoke to the person at the entrance and showed my Alipay to pay for the mornings breakfast He spoke to the reception and told me its included in my hotel fee Upon checking out, I was told to pay for the breakfast for the duration of my stay I did have breakfast and the amount is not a problem But it is misleading; trying to tell guest its in the hotel fee then bills you at the check out when you have already had breakfast for the duration thinking its been paid for
