JM Alley Hotel (Beijing Wangfujing Dongsi Subway Station) recensioner

Great location in the midst of delicious and authentic restaurants, walking distance to places like the Lama Temple and Wudaoying Hutong (~30min), and a short walk to metro stops (~7min). Staff were professional and the entire compound was kept clean with necessary amenities provided. Felt extremely safe. Will return :)

Pretty and new hotel. There are limited rooms hence not crowded and quiet. Furnishing has a touch of modern and oriental elements, add a classy touch to the hotel. However don’t expect excellent warmth service from the hotel staff. Strongly recommend to stay here!

The hotel was very nice and cosy. It’s situated in a more residential area so there are quite a few local eateries. The hotel is also right in between 2 metro stations, which makes it very convenient.

This is an amazing hotel, one of the best ones I have ever been to. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A fruit plate, a full mini bar and all kinds of bathroom amenities were provided upon our arrival. All employees were kind and attentive. We also liked the hotel bar. The location is perfect for exploring Beijing and it is located between two subway stations.

It was an amazing stay! The tatami room was great for two people. Clean and modern while still having a little bit of a traditional feel. Very close to restaurants and hutongs.

Quaint little hutong hotel that’s located in Dongsi road with local eateries and shops. Situated between 2 train stations, it is a brisk 5 minutes walk to Dongsi station. Easy access to many local dining options, tcm pharmacy, banks, small provision shops and even a 7eleven. There is a local 3 storey supermarket and Macdonalds next to Dongsi Station. We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, it was a good size, clean, comfortable and functional. The one small drawback was the breakfast. I would recommend skipping it. Look for local dumplings, paus, soya milk or curd, noodles or fried dough in any of the hole in the wall local eateries near the hotel. This area is very safe and not touristy. In the early evenings, while walking, we saw hutong residents sitting outside chatting, exercising, strolling, playing cards and even dancing.

The rooms are in general fine the size is adequate for 2 persons. There is one washing machine and one dryer in the lobby for use but you need to cut through a currently unused bar to get to it so not sure how that will work when the bar is in use. The breakfast is a set meal and it’s almost the same everyday so no need to get breakfast just order in or eat around the area. The area is off Wangfujing (the further end) so not too quiet but yet not in the crowded areas. Close enough to a train station as well. Cleaning could be improved though. All in all average for the price paid.

Wonderful place to stay in Beijing. Unique and central to everything. Will definitely be staying here again.

Location is perfect within Hutong area. Subway (Dongsi Station) is very near to the hotel making it convenient to go places around Beijing city. There are many eateries nearby including a 7 Eleven just a few blocks away. Shops in surrounding areas open really early which makes it easy to get breakfast and be on the move to visit other attractions. The hotel itself is elegant and peaceful. Room was very clean and service was really good. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to explore Beijing Hutongs.

Hotel is very nice, easy to get to and clean. There is a lot of food around as well.

2nd stay with JM Alley. Nice local with courtyard style. Room is clean and spacious. Location is abit further from mrt about 7-10mins walk.

The room is on the road side and very noisy. The lobby area is quite messy with all clothes hanging on the side, boxes… Not recommended

Very friendly staff. The location is great and the hotel is beautiful!
