Zhongyu Select Hotel

The room is quite small, but enough for staying for several days. The bed is comfortable and the bedding is very clean and white. Towels are a bit old. The location is good, especially for those who is going to travel by train. There a lot of cafes and food courts, several supermarkets. A shower in the room is not convenient, after taking it it’s very slippery and you can easily fall down.

I stayed here with my boyfriend and my mom. We had two rooms with no windows. It was relatively good for the most part but the AC doesn’t work properly so it’s hot in the room, especially when there’s two of us in one. It was relatively clean but the slippers for the shower were a bit dirty. Other than that, the cleanliness was fine. Breakfast was nothing too special. We ordered delivery a couple times and the robot brings it to you after the delivery man drops it off at reception. Sometimes the staff didn’t place the deliveries into the robots for up to an hour so we picked stuff up ourselves downstairs sometimes. It’s located close to the Beijing west railway station and there’s a metro close by. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Not many of the staff speak English but I know a bit of Chinese and Google translate helps

1. The electric circuit is not stable. 2. The toilet is clogged. 3. I don’t know why my delivery never arrive, either hotel or courier issue. 4. The receptionist is not friendly, they don’t really bother, when talking with him- named Mr.胡, he is using his phone social media, not professional at all. As well as the cleaner, is really rude. 5.The soundproof is poor.

Not Recommended, photos online are clean, but actual experience was very disappointing. We stayed in early November (autumn, around 10°C), 4 nights. First, No air conditioning. Clearly seeing that “air conditioning” was listed when booking. Upon arrival, we were told it’s a central heating system — only warm air, no cooling. Our room had no windows, became extremely stuffy. That’s ok, maybe it’s hotel culture. When we asked the front desk about this, we just being told to “open the door for outside air” with no real solution. Eventually, we went down lobby and manager maybe? - gave us two fans (we have 2 rooms), but they were covered in dust, and we had to clean them ourselves. Bad smell poor ventilation. No windows rooms, no air-conditioning, no exhaust fan, smelly and unpleasant, like a drain odor. After two nights, both my fam member and I developed small red bumps on our legs in the same areas. The blankets didn’t feel clean either. It’s better to look for another place. 不推荐这间酒店。实际入住体验非常失望。3人，2 房 十一月初（秋天，大约10°C）住了四晚。 订房时写着“有空调”，但之后被告知是中央空调——只能吹暖风，没办法制冷。房间又没有窗户，整晚很闷. 我们拨打电话反映问题时，被告知“开门通风”就好了，没有解决办法。最后我们亲自下去前台换有窗的房间/风扇，才有行动。换窗口的房间还要加钱…最后借了我们两个电风扇（我们有两间房），结果风扇上都是灰，还得自己擦干净。 味道差、通风不好。我们房间没窗。酒店房间没冷气、排风扇可能也没操作，空气混浊又有臭味，像下水道的味道。住了两晚后，我和家人腿上都起了小红疹，盖的被子也感觉不太干净。 如果是在秋天/冬天 中央空调，应该写出来～ 毕竟是serve外国人的一间酒店。看图片吧，建议找别的地方住，会比较好。

When i booked the hotel, my expectation was that it is gonna be a small one. I was pleasantly surprised that it is almost like a Hilton-esque type. Amenities wise and the lobby. Their restaurant serves great Beijing duck food. The West railway station is only 5-6 mins away by foot. I will stay here again.

very close to subway station. surrounding area looks generally safe and clean. staff is very helpful even though they don't speak english, they will use translator. twin bed room with no window is quite small so if you want more space, better book a bigger room.
