Lovely hotel with top notch quality amenities. Breakfast was fine but it lacked in variety. Food was overall okay.. room was pleasant and the pool and hot springs are prefect for families!

Excellent! Very good facilities, kid friendly, great food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Family theme room is cute. Bathtub with view and thermal spring water is super relaxing. Kid’s club indoor playground was a favourite for the little one. Hot springs are a bit costly but extensive and well kept. Ticket allows for 2 entries a day.

Nice weekend Escape with 2 little kids. Big kids playroom and outdoor pools. Great Wall just 20 mins away.

Was a pleasant stay. Good service and the breakfast was great.

Family Hotel with Relaxation Guaranteed – A Dream for Parents and Kids! Our family (two adults, four children) had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Hotel Badaling! If you’re traveling with kids but still want to relax, this is the perfect place. The highlight of our stay was the ideal balance between relaxation and family-friendliness. While we enjoyed the amazing hot springs, our children had a fantastic time at the wonderful playground. It was the best of both worlds – parents could unwind while the kids played happily. For families looking for a relaxing yet exciting getaway near the Great Wall of China, the Marriott Badaling is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back!

Just my favorite hotel in Beijing. Great GREAT value for money. Best way to relax. Everything and everyone fabulous. Awesome for foreigners...felt so SO welcome. I would go every weekend if I could ❤️

Lovely hotel in good location for the mall. Staff excellent and standard of hotel very good. Hot spring is lovely but comes with an extra charge. I hope this could be made clearer as it is shown in the general hotel photos and I thought it was included in the rate.

The hotel room was very basic with no coffee machine and a crappy hair dryer. I tried to use the clothes line in the shower to dry the kid's swim suits, but it didn't reach the other side of the wall and just snapped off in my hand. The staff in the hotel are polite and helpful, but the staff in the hotsprings aren't so nice. I actually chose this hotel because the outside pools looked fun for kids, but it turns out it's part of a separate hotsprings area which isn't free for hotel guests. My husband and 2 month old had to buy a ticket to accompany my eldest and I even though they weren't using the facilities. Then, we only stayed outside for 30 minutes because we were eaten by mosquitoes. Avoid the outdoor hotsprings this time of year unless you don't mind mosquito bites. Extremely disappointed.

Very weird since enter to the hotel. Receptionist asking do we need tooth brush or not!? Is this Marriott or some cheap hotel!? In room the bedding’s are smelly. It’s like didn’t even used softeners for the cloths. The worst experience ever.

The hotel is lovely, big and feels luxurious. The room was good, but beds are small. It seems strange that a hotel like this would have double beds. Ideally hotel beds should be King. The pool area was lovely, but the fact that hotel guests have to pay for access to the hot springs is not good. It should be included with all room bookings. Our main negative point about this hotel was the service. It’s was shocking. When ordering a drink and meal in the bar/lounge area, it took over an hour to get anything we ordered and then multiple orders were incorrect. Nobody working there seemed to know what they were doing. Another concern we noted was that when we phoned the reception from our room, there was nobody at reception who could speak English. We made a booking for 4 people, but the room was only set up for two, so when we asked for more towels, pillows and water bottles. They were delivered to our room but just dumped in a pile near the door. This didn’t seem quite right and not what we expected from a hotel of this caliber.

The Marriott is a great hotel. There is an attached hot spring which is wonderful for a family looking to have fun. The breakfast is great and the rooms with a balcony are fantastic. I will definitely be coming to visit again.
