The room was like being back in time! The location was good and the people very friendly and helpful! Above all when they had to move us in the middle of the night for flooding risk...😊 I would strongly recommend this place to everyone!

It's located at the end of Gubei Water Town towards Great Wall entrance. It's also near to one of the hotspring resort.

Good place to stay, worth for its price. Breakfast is so good and quiet variety

Great experience… location of this reasonable priced inn is at the end of Wtown and super close to the entrance of the Great Wall. Room is not new but authentic and equipped with necessities. Staff was super friendly, WiFi was good, breakfast was simple yet delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Location  The hotel is located in the center of town and close to the entrance to the Simatia wall just 3 minutes walk from the hotel also the hotel was very quiet and very clean the staff were very friendly. The breakfast is a little bit Chinese style liked another hotel in Beijing. The view from the hotel was very beautiful and around there too. If you like something easy and relaxing I would recommend it. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit china.

It’s a traditional chinese style guest house, the staff are polite & courteous, & it’s very neat to the Great Wall entrance.

The room was pretty clean. We weren’t able to locate the hotel at first because it’s only in Chinese at the front door. No complaint about the room. However, we had ordered breakfast since check in, but they did not provide as we ordered. We only had 2 mains for the group of 4 people. It’s difficult to communicate since non speak Chinese so we just had the little food from the courtesy line.

Yanmen Inn in Gubei Water Town was a fantastic place to stay! The highlight was the private balcony with stunning views of the river, mountains, and the Great Wall—a sight I’ll never forget. The room was clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches, like bowls of delicious peanuts and cherry tomatoes left by housekeeping for late-night snacks. Even the tap water here was amazing—pure and refreshing. The gentleman who checked us in was very kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. While it was tricky to navigate to the hotel after entering the park due to a lack of prior instructions (and not speaking the language), we eventually found our way to a shuttle, and our luggage was already waiting for us when we arrived. I highly recommend Yanmen Inn for its comfort, breathtaking views, and warm hospitality. It’s a gem in the heart of Gubei Water Town!

Excellent location right at the entrance to the Great Wall and in 10 min walk to the main street with food stalls and attractions. The room was spacious, with a huge balcony. The hosts don't speak English, but we used an interpreter and it was ok. Breakfast served as a buffet with warm options to choose from the day before. Overall very nice place to stay.

This hotel is under renovate during my stay. They escalate me to other hotel. Good sevice.

Location is just next to the entrance to Great Wall. Restaurant food is good.
