Grand Hyatt Beijing at Oriental Plaza recensioner

The location is perfect, connected with shopping mall and subway station. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They let us leave the room at 4 pm instead at midday without additional charge. The English speaking lady and Mr. Allan at the reception are very professional.

Well the location is great. You get a bunch of food around. Hotel looks nice and is nice. Near to the forbidden city unfortunately was there at night couldn’t get it. Will stay here again. It’s pretty expensive but hey, location location location. Can’t complain, will stay again.

Hotel basement is directly connected to shopping center with access to Wangfujing pedestrian street and mass rapid station.

This was my first time staying at the Hyatt Beijing, as I usually stay at the Mandarin Oriental. Overall, it was a positive experience. While the service isn’t as refined as the Mandarin, you get what you pay for, right? That said, the reception staff and concierge were extremely helpful. I would stay at this hotel again for its convenience—it's close to major attractions like Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and within a reasonable journey to the Great Wall of China. The hotel also offers great amenities, including a shopping mall below, an impressive pool oasis that’s perfect for children, and a well-equipped gym. To top it off, the hotel restaurant serves an excellent Beijing duck.

My girlfriend and I had wonderful time together in this hotel! Room was super clean, staff friendly, food delicious and the gym had lots of machines. Location is perfect, near national museum and forbidden city. A perfect spot for a lovely weekend with your partner:) 10/10

Liked it enough, and extended my stay for another night. Good experience throughout. Room service wasn’t what I was expecting in terms of presentation etc., but tasted okay.

Fantastic service everywhere we roam within the hotel premises. Room is spacious, some parts seem dated but overall we love all that is provided in the apartment. Breakfast is superb, great quality of dishes and variety. One of the best we had.

Really love our stay in Grand Hyatt Wangfujing! We love the newly renovated room (and yesss the toilet has bidet!) and they have speaker too, the breakfast is superb (a lot of choices and it’s delicious), and the concierge team especially Cecilia is the best! She is really helpful in answering our enquries, finding our things that we bought online, help us make reservation at the restaurant, telling us how to go around by foot (forbiden city is around 15 mins walk) and she speaks a good english. Will stay at this hotel again when we go to Beijing next time!

I have generally only good things to say about my experience. The incredible upgrade from 2 rooms to an apartment was great. Breakfast buffet was included in my rate of choice, and it has one of the most amazing breakfast spreads I have seen. Location was already central and walkable mostly in mall to 2 adjacent MRT stations accessing 3 key MRT lines. I can only share one photo of 1 of the bedrooms, as the other room and my living room had my family inside. They even have fruit basket for me. My main minor gripe was that I wish they could also have provided disposable face masks that we then had to find ourselves. Face masks could help with the cold of winter that we underestimated. But all in all, it was really a great experience at Hyatt. Full marks !

The hotel staff is quite welcoming and polite. Very fast to respond to our requests. Breakfast also has a wide range of western and Chinese food. Overall I would recommend and stay here again.
