Good location good price but should improve cleanliness. Restaurant opposite very delicious

Situated at the side of the main road and thus making it convenient to find then hostels in a hutong (small alley). There is a cafe on the first floor. The restaurant serves mostly western dishes, which the diners can have on the rooftop dining area (third floor). There, diners can have a nice view of the White Light Pagoda. Infact, the establishment is within a short walking distance to the Golden Light Pagoda. As for the hostel itself, the rooms are designed tatami style. Beds are arranged side by side on tatami mats, separated by small wooden dividers. Each bed comes equipped with a small reading lamp and a charger area, and a small cabinet to put valuables. The rooms are on the second floor, locked with an automatic sliding door. The shower rooms and cubicles are on the first floor. Albeit its strengths, there are two dampeners to this hostel. One, the bathrooms are shared between the hostel guests and diners, and bathrooms being on the first floor, guests had to walk down and up. Second, the bathroom and garbage area (near the front door and receptionist) have a funky smell. For the bathroom, I suppose it is because the bathroom is is confined in the middle of the hostel, thus a lack of ventilation in the window-less bathroom. As for the garbage area, I dont suppose the cleaners wash or watch them very frequently. Seems like the only cleaner mainly cleans the restaurant. Second, the rooms are not soundproof. When I stayed there, a man with a big nest of hair laughed and clapped every several minutes in glee and utter abandon while playing his mobile phone until way past 11pm. After bearing with the noises for a while, I had to tell him off; he apologised and immediately stopped. That was when I realised he had had his earphones on while playing and did not realise how loud his voice must have been. Surprisingly, the receptionist, also awake, did not alert him. As you can see from the pictures, the hostel and cafe are elegantly decorated. However, I feel that the management of the restaurant is prioritized than the proper management of the hostel. The hostel is close to Subway Line 4.

A nice hostel, the staff that welcomed me was very friendly, they provided me with information. The cleanliness is excellent, there is a cafeteria area and restaurant service, they provide toiletries, the space is very cozy, I walked to some beautiful parks that were close to the forbidden city, a very comfortable place.

Trendy and lively back streets lanes 胡同 to wander around. Plenty of cafes, shops, Local Chinese food plus other western cuisines as well

Good location, less than 10min walking to different metros. Crossing the street, there is a fruit shop and a cheap place to have breakfast. The Hutongs in that area are also very good.

Get out of Line2 Fuchengmen Exit B, turn right and left two times go along the big street (0.5k). Pagoda light Hotel is on the left and then White pagoda temple ไป๋ถ่าซื่อต๊ง is next to this hotel. 733baht/person in 6 bunk bed. Toilets outside the wall of the temple is washing by stomp.

A youth hostel atmosphere: shared room (only female or only male for 2-4 people/room), shared facilities men or women (restroom,/shower), squat toilet. Option to order some food and drinks. The hotel is calm but it can be disturbing when a new guest arrives in the middle of the night. The staff is friendly and knows enough english to help you if you need.

I stayed for my whole trip and the location is quite good. The receptionist especially the tall slim guy was so kind! He’s so gentle and willing to help even though communication is a challenge. Thank you!! The only thing I can comment is that the bathing/washing area is shared with the customers in the Cafe, it’s quite uncomfortable hopefully next time there’ll be a separate area for us. All else is fine.

I really don’t understand what made this hostel so expensive (around 26€ a night). It wasn’t bad but had nothing special either. No breakfast, no towel, no cold water refill, really small dorms, kinda far from the main attractions (but Beijing being huge, you’ll need to travel wherever you stay). However the staff was awesome, spoke quite a good English and was really friendly and super helpful. They help me make some reservations, gave me some tips as for where to eat, etc.

Location is nice near some good restaurants and 10 min to subway station lime 2. Staffs are kind and helpful. For the price rooms aren't the best. But in general it was a nice stay.

Nice place to stay with a roof terrace. The room was a bit dark and the bathroom far away. The rest is a ver beautiful facility. Nice gentle person. Allo perfect.
