The hotel is in strategic location and just next to the metro station. Shower is low water pressure. Dislike that the hotel staff kept pressing us to give good reviews the moment we hand them the room key. We’ve not even received the room completion notification from trip.com and there’s no link to submit review! That’s not the way to get good ratings! Staff even asked to give review and they want to snapshot our review on reason of their hotel policy. What kind of policy is that to press consumer to give good ratings. I’d have given better rating for the hotel if they’ve not done so. Truly disappointed with the service. Regretted to stay with them after a friend’s recommendation.

Great location, 2min to subway station. Quiet environment. Room is small but equipped with everything we need. Worth the price. Overall good experience!

The hotel is very clean, the location is very good, the staff is very helpful and there is a 24 hour staff.

Initially I was rather not please but the slow check in process, however the hotel soon won me over. This is a rather tiny hotel but it's only 150m from the mrt station. You can walk to houhai and gulou with ease. The hotel has some interesting area like a reading room and it provided free chicken dumplings as supper on both nights. I need to commend on the young male service staff who helped me look high and low for my parcel that was missing. Apparently the seller did not capture my reference and if not for the young man I would not have been able to find my parcel

The staff are really friendly and always greeted us when we came in or out. The hotel has free laundry and free supper. The location is very convenient, just a minute from the metro station and the Nanluoguxiang shopping street. I'd stay here again.

Room is clean but the furnishings are old. Got most things just not a room fridge, location is great.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the room was clean and well-equipped with heating, air conditioning, a hairdryer, and other amenities. The location is fantastic, close to the Hutongs and just a short walk from the subway station, making it easy to explore Beijing. Highly recommend this hotel for its service and convenience!

The location of the hotel is excellent -- close to beautiful ancient temples and restaurants. Services are satisfactory with pretty clean and nice rooms.

Very convenient place to stay in. Its nearby to popular locations and shopping area. Few streets down to restaurants and bar area. Staffs are very helpful and friendly too. Not too worried about security, it’s inside a guarded area as well. Would come back in the future.

Excellent location, right next to nanlouguxiang and several order attractions. There are many restaurants nearby and very safe area. The front desk staff is very helpful and polite. Room was often cleaned by the friendly aunty Zhang. Highly recommend to pick this hotel when in beijing.

This is coming from an American perspective so you’ll know they accept foreigners. Super happy that we booked this hotel! Goo gle maps wont show this hotel if you’re searching from outside of China but just know when you land, it’ll show on Apple Maps. Once you arrive, you’ll find that it’s nestled past a security gate with a guard in a courtyard with a traditional style building next to it. Location was great as it was right next to one of the popular Hutong (nanluogoxiang). Had great meals, foot massages, and fire cupping at the hutong after a long day. It took us about an hr from the PEK airport to get here via subway, and the stop is close by the hotel entrance! Always check your booking and ask if breakfast is included and how many days the breakfasts are included. We stayed two nights but only had one day for breakfast which worked out since down the street had an amazing Jian Bing place (separate from the hutong). Their breakfast spread was simple but delicious. A good sampler of dim sum options, congee, noodles and rice, and few choices of western style breakfast. The eating spot was located upstairs and one side of it had an area which looked functional as a workspace or common area. Our room was cute and enough for two people. It had a small seating area and table so if you want to eat in the room, or need to do some work in the room, you have that option. We had a bit of hiccup in the room and the staff quickly jumped on the problem and moved us to another room with sincere apologies - they gifted us a bag full of local snacks that we ate during the entire trip. Even with a language barrier, the staff responded with no hesitation to make us feel comfortable. Would highly recommend anyone in town to stay here!

Good hotel, great location next to a lively hutong. The room was nice and clean, midnight snack was generous and delicious. Only thing is that reception area was quite messy.
