The hotel is located in Lishi Hutong, Dongcheng District, central Beijing. In the Ming Dynasty, this area belonged to Sichengfang and was called Donkey City Hutong. During the Xuantong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Lishi Hutong. The home of Prime Minister Liu Luoguo (Liu Yong) is in this alley. There are many large mansions in the hutong. The former residence of Jingxin, a scholar of the Qing Dynasty, and the official residence of Binjun, the prefect of Wuchang in the late Qing Dynasty, are also in this hutong. It is also one of the filming locations of the mansion gate.

Room is clean and drink are complimentary daily. Their staff services are very polite and friendly.
Allowed us to dine our takeaway food in their restaurant too.
Views are perfect, literally inside a sihe yuan.
Definitely will stay again.

Loved my stay here in Beijing! Great location walkable to Dongsi subway station in under 5 minutes - which can then get you everywhere. I also like walking and if you do you can instead also walk to many places- it’s central. Arrived early but given an early check in and room upgrade! Free water and soft drinks replenished daily, separate toilet/shower and no issues with water temp or pressure. Really special staying in hutong with character,charm instead of a generic motel that could be anywhere in the world. Would recommend and definitely would stay here again. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller even walking around at night back from dinner

Great hotel in a quiet hutong very close to a busy trendy Beijing Street. Good location nearby the subway, clean, friendly front desk staff and all hotel staff. I wasn't a fan of breakfast, so I'd skip that next time, but I'd definitely stay again!

We booked 2 rooms and weee pleasantly surprised with the rooms a well as service of the staff. Hotel is located off the main road but still conveniently located to Dongsi subway station. I would suggest going for the loft rooms if available.

We had a 19hr stopover in Beijing and decided to book a hotel and taxis with Trip.com. I was a bit sceptical at first as I’ve never heard of/used Trip.com before but everything was great! The location of this hotel is great, near a metro station and very walkable and near lots of shops/restaurants. The room looked exactly like the pictures and was really nicely decorated. The only negative is that the heating was really noisy and made lots of banging noises so our sleep was a bit disturbed and you definitely need the heating on in winter in Beijing!

Perfectly suited my needs as a solo traveller in winter of December. Room is heated, has ample space, cleaned everyday, enough bottled water to make hot tea, and strong hot water for showering! Ladies at the reception do not speak English, but they are polite and ready to help. Must use the translator & interpreter apps to get around if you dont speak Mandarin.
The area is lively with locals going about their daily lives. Dongsi station is nearby, about 10mins walk. A couple of units next to the hotel is a small unassuming teahouse that you can walk in for some good aged pu'erh and white tea. It's quite a find!

FEEL LIKE HOME. The staffs are very friendly, the neighborhood is surrounded with local Beijingers with their daily life so I feel like i am indulged in a homey warmth. And this hotel provide bath sponge and 3 carbonated drinks for free. Love it!
