Fuxue TRUE GO Hotel (Beijing Nanluoguxiang Chinese Siheyuan) recensioner

Very comfortable room, the service staff were great and accommodating. It’s a very convenient location to the various attractions and walking distance to Nanluoguxiang. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is so very pretty and is great if you want to explore the hutong area in Beijing. Having said that, it may not be the easiest option for foreign travellers. No English is spoken on the property although they will use translator apps to communicate with you in the reception. The room has a central control system which is only in Chinese so you may not be able to do dim lights and action other controls which could be useful. There was an unfortunate situation with our stay: the reservation was for 3 adults (family) but they gave us a room with only a queen bed, no extra bed which was a surprise. We pointed that out but basically they told us that one of us had to sleep on the sofa so far from ideal, it wasn’t cheap enough to justify this kind of condition. I will say that the aunties and uncles that serve the breakfast were the best, super nice and seemed happy to be there (one of them sang while working), very heart warming.

Hotel is located next to Nanluogu Hutong, 5 mins walk away. Hotel is traditional yet very modern interior. Room is clean with nice amenities. Rooms located to the back of the hotel might face some noise in the morning from the school field located right behind the hotel. Centrally located hotel with nice vibe. Highly recommended.

I love staying at this hotel. The service is perfect, they helped me with my luggages. The room is very clean and tidy. I sleep on the futon but it is very comfortable 😌 The area is near to hutong and there is a small supermarket nearby. I would recommend this hotel for people who want to enjoy a cultural experience.

Very good good

Beautiful little hotel in a great location. Sparkly clean and well taken care of. Very close to the walking street of the hutong and great communications nearby. The young women in reception were very helpful and pleasant, we were less impressed with the young man’s attitude, but overall great staff. Rooms were cute and comfortable, the heating/cooling easy to navigate and efficient and there was a air filter in the room. The beds and bedding were great, except for the futon that was a bit hard to sleep on, would not recommend that for an adult. There were several convenience stores close to the hotel and lots of restaurant options. The whole property is very picturesque and has an old world charm. The only thing we did not care for is the breakfast (we had the western style breakfast), but that might be a personal preference. Also, if you are sensitive to sound, ask for a room towards the courtyard. We had one of our rooms facing a school yard, and were woken up by music at 07.20 when the school kids started their morning work-out. We rather enjoyed this unexpected experience, but if you’re set on sleeping in, you should probably ask for a different room.

A interesting stay in Chinese courtyard style hotel. A must have experience when you are in Beijing. Location is convenient near one of the famous artisan shopping street, good food and sub way. Friendly and helpful staff,
