Beautiful little hotel in a great location. Sparkly clean and well taken care of. Very close to the walking street of the hutong and great communications nearby. The young women in reception were very helpful and pleasant, we were less impressed with the young man’s attitude, but overall great staff. Rooms were cute and comfortable, the heating/cooling easy to navigate and efficient and there was a air filter in the room. The beds and bedding were great, except for the futon that was a bit hard to sleep on, would not recommend that for an adult. There were several convenience stores close to the hotel and lots of restaurant options. The whole property is very picturesque and has an old world charm. The only thing we did not care for is the breakfast (we had the western style breakfast), but that might be a personal preference. Also, if you are sensitive to sound, ask for a room towards the courtyard. We had one of our rooms facing a school yard, and were woken up by music at 07.20 when the school kids started their morning work-out. We rather enjoyed this unexpected experience, but if you’re set on sleeping in, you should probably ask for a different room.

A interesting stay in Chinese courtyard style hotel. A must have experience when you are in Beijing. Location is convenient near one of the famous artisan shopping street, good food and sub way. Friendly and helpful staff,

This hotel made our trip to Beijing even better. The location is close to our city walk route, the room is modern, clean and cozy. Our 2 days stay here was just not enough at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Unique accommodation that carries vibes of ancient China, mesh with slight modern facilities, both interior as well as external features. Service was very good from kitchen staff, receptionist to cleaning ladies. They were friendly, cheerful and extend their help to us all the time. Shout out to the service crew, 筝筝，欣然，志勇 - excellent service, very warm greetings whenever we walk pass, and they voluntarily helped us with our heavy luggages up the stairs. Keep up the good work!

The location is excellent, 5-10 minutes from the Nanluogu Xiang Metro as well as the shopping hutong area. The staff helped us get reservations to Chairman Mao Memorial Hall through a tour guide and made excellent eating suggestions which allowed us to explore different areas and Old Beijing food. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and the laundry service was helpful.
