Beijing Yuanzhu Xiaoshe Villa recensioner

Great apartment. Everything you need is there already, like soap, toothbrush, toilet paper etc, but there is also everything you need to do some simple cooking- very useful! The location was perfect, a 10 minute walk to taxi drop off (the whole town is pedestrianised) and about 5 minutes to Simatai Great Wall ticket entrance and the entrance to Gubei water town attraction. Good restaurants about 5 minutes away too and they are cheap. The apartment is cosy and there are 3 balconies to choose from if you want to relax in the sun! This would also be a very safe and comfortable place to stay with young children. I was very happy that the host also provided a lot of drinking water. It's useful to know that the apartment is inside a bigger apartment complex, just enter through the first gate as you approach from the town and maybe add the host on WeChat before you arrive so you can communicate easily. There are lots of small shops selling food and drinks nearby. The back balcony has a dreamy view of the Great Wall. Enjoy!

The accommodation is like a homestay unit with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen. Properly owner is very friendly with quick responsive to all our requests. The unit is clean and all electrical appliances functioning well. The unit we stay is about 400 meter walking distance to Gubei tourist Registration center. We enjoy our stay. Valuable stay for a group of 5 persons. 住宿就像一个民宿单位，有2个房间、2个浴室和厨房。业主非常友好，能够快速响应我们的所有要求。单位很干净，所有电器运转良好。我们住的单位距离古北游客登记中心步行约400米。我们住得很愉快。适合 5 人团体入住，物超所值。

Good accommodation with private bedroom and living room, spacious and with facilities like being at home.

I was unable to locate the hotel but trop.com and hotel staff who we chatted me was extremely helpful and provided a step by step guidance until I reached rhe hotel. The room is spacious with wonderful view 😀

Good service and recommend when you travel to Gubei Wtown

Good location near to the ticket office, room is nice and the view from the balcony is super great specially at night when i can see the great wall..

Careful somebody from the service came into our room at 7 am and stole a plate… The bed is hard and not very comfortable. There is no service whatsoever.

Awesome experience. Very close to gubei water town. Worth it. Very close to bus stop as well. Highly recommend. You can also get induction to cook your own food and utensils

Don't book this unless you want to be stranded and left without accommodation. The booking is completely misleading as the villa is nothing like it's advertised. We thought we booked a room in the villa as this was the name of the booking and the address and amenities mentioned in the booking on Trip.com. However, it turned out the room was in a completely different location and building and had none of the amenities it said it would in our bookings. After mentioning this to the owner,板筋, he argued and quickly started shouting at us. Before we knew it he cancelled the reservation and left the us without saying another word. We did not get a refund and he kept the money for the reservation. While Trip.com tried to be helpful, they couldn't get our money back, even though the information on their website was absolutely incorrect.

About the hotel : it's not an hotel, more like a B&B - which is completely fine but good to have in mind. About the room : We have to say we found the description to be quite misleading compared to the room we had - but it's maybe because stuff got lost in translation. The room we were in was in a massive building (no villa), hardly had a view, and especially no swimming pool access. Nothing compared to the pictures we saw. Appart from that deception the room was good, clean, of good size and had a balcony.

The place is clean, spacious and look exactly like how depicted in the pictures. Check in is easy with check in code, host is very responsive. The location is right next to water town that we could walk to water town and Great Wall. However it’s gated community. Our Didi and Taxi couldn’t go inside due to locked gate. We had to walk all the way to the parking lot outside to get Didi.

This accommodation accepts foreigners. After booking this place, tried to contact owner via WeChat with contact provided, but owner never added me until I needed to text in Chinese from my phone (using translator). When arrived to the location he sent me on a map, I received directions to find the apartment myself. We never once met the owner of the property. All conversations using Wechat were in Chinese (me using translator). The little studio was clean when we arrived, but later at night was full of loud insects that we had to eliminate in order to sleep. The bed was very hard not comfortableat all. The kitchen was supposed to have everything available to make meals (at least was what I have read in previous reviews) but in reality had nothing, not even a spoon. It was a very simple place, a bit expensive for what you get.
