Hotell i Dongcheng, Peking

Hotellet ligger nära centralstationen, men vi hittade det inte direkt. Innergården var mysig och rummen var rena. Våra rumsfönster vette mot tågspåren, men ljudet var inte störande. Vi märkte ingen vänlighet från personalen; det verkade som om alla var ständigt upptagna. Att klättra upp till fjärde våningen med resväskor och ingen hiss var mycket obekvämt, men ingen erbjöd sig att hjälpa till. Vi planerade att äta pekinganka på restaurangen, men de sa att de inte hade det. Vi blev besvikna. Men vi behövde fortfarande något att äta, så vi beställde nötkött i tomatsås. Vi njöt verkligen av rätten; den kompenserade för bristen på anka. Frukostarna var medelmåttiga; utbudet var inte enormt, men man kunde hitta något att äta. Croissanterna var inte färska, men man kan göra sina egna våfflor i ett våffeljärn; det fanns ingen mjölk den sista dagen.

Location of hotel was amazing, just next to Wangfujing walking street with row of accessible stores and close to train station, about 5 min walk. Miniso is attached to the hotel and there is 7-11 across the street. Basic amenities were provided but beyond that one will need to call receptionist to get the rest. Hotel was a little noisy due to renovation and the other lift was not open in time for my stay so I had to walk quite a distance to the room, diagonally. Breakfast was good and moved to a new location on 21/3. Heated pool was cold most of the time, there is insufficient heat to maintain the pool temp.

Vi valde detta hotell på chans, utan att ha kollat upp något i förväg, eftersom vi trodde att det låg nära platsen för flaggceremonin. Det visade sig att läget var fantastiskt! Direkt från flygplatsen kom vi till Qianmen Street, som var otroligt livlig med massor av kreativa butiker – barnen älskade det. Bara tre minuters promenad bort fanns Quanjude, Donglaishun och Fangzhuan Factory Zhajiangmian. Dashilar var också fullt av liv, och tunnelbanan var superbekväm. Receptionen var så hjälpsam och uppgraderade vårt rum, och vi förlängde vår vistelse med en natt eftersom läget var så perfekt. Barnen sa att de vill komma tillbaka hit nästa gång! 😁

Centralt läge med många restauranger mitt över gatan. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal som alltid gjorde sitt bästa för att hjälpa till.  Vårt rum hade tre sängar och all bekvämlighet som vi efterfrågade. Rekommenderas starkt!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! We stayed at the hotel from October 17 to October 21, 2025. The hotel is located in the historic district of Beijing, next to the pink metro line - Temple of heaven East gate, it is very convenient to get to the city centre. The neighbourhood itself is very quiet, no noise at night😮💨 A beautiful and cosy lobby where you can pour tea, coffee or water. The staff is very polite, speaks English well, helped us with everything, thank you very much for your work🫶🏻. The room was clean, no smell of cigarettes, as they write about many other hotels, there is a TV, air conditioning, kettle, bottled water, towels and slippers! Once we had breakfast at the hotel, the price is democratic and it was very tasty! There were steamed buns with meat, vegetables, noodles, rice with vegetables, meat and drinks to choose from. We were very happy 🥰

Det var en blandning av rumstypen som vi bokade via Trip.com vilket ledde till att vi fick det felaktiga rummet vid ankomsten (ganska gammalt och daterat). Efter att ha flyttat till en andra rumstyp som inte heller matchade bilderna på vår bokning, kunde vi flytta till rätt rum den andra dagen av vår vistelse, eftersom tydligen inga rum som matchade vår bokning fanns tillgängliga när vi kom. Det här rummet var trevligt och rymligt, med ett terrasserat område utanför. Frukosten var rimlig, med massor av alternativ. Takterrass var också trevlig och drinkar var ett bra pris. Sängarna var bekväma och läget var bra för Forbidden City och enkel tillgång till resten av staden - nära tunnelbanan.

We spent 4 nights here and our stay was wonderful. The room was clean and refreshed daily. There was coffee in the lobby 24/7. The breakfast spread was large and they had something for everyone. Highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Beijing

Staying at this charming hotel nestled in a traditional hutong was an unforgettable experience. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps away from bustling pedestrian streets, vibrant shopping districts, and iconic landmarks like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It felt like we were living in the soul of old Beijing while having modern conveniences right at our fingertips. The hotel itself was a delightful blend of heritage and comfort. The courtyard-style architecture gave us a true taste of local culture, and it was a peaceful retreat from the city’s buzz. Despite its traditional setting, the rooms were clean, well-equipped, and surprisingly spacious. Staff were warm and helpful, the breakfast they prepared was very good. Hotel it's very close to two metro stations which was very convenient. If you’re looking for an authentic Beijing experience with unbeatable access to the city’s highlights, this hotel is a perfect choice. We’d absolutely stay here again.

The hotel feels like home.. Complete with all you need.. They provide washing machine, kettle, water heater and aircond function well.. The room feels warm and it's great expecially during winter.. And they also provide hanging rack on top of 2nd bed or near window to hang you wet cloth after washing. Check in process is smooth. Also the hotel is near to the subway around 10 min by walking. Cons: The toilet quite smelly , not sure where they come from.. I tried to put some soap to clean up but unable to reduce the smell.. Hope the management can do something on the toilet..

We had a great experience with the hotel staff. They are very friendly, helpful, and we enjoyed our conversations with them. The room is comfortable and clean. The location is in the historic area, it's a bit like back to old time. Nearby there is the Shi Jia Hutong Museum, free entry too, great for learning about history. There are many cool local restaurants, delicious food and a very reasonable price. If we come back to Beijing, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.
