Sabine made the check-in process swift and pleasant. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel’s location is ideal. Unfortunately, the pool area was disappointing. The sun loungers were dirty, and the service was extremely slow. We waited over twenty minutes for towels and eventually gave up.

If you're looking for a hotel where you will be kept up by multiple bars, noisy restaurant, loud guests and staff tidying up until 2am then this is the place for you! It is a great location in Gemmayze, very beautiful building and very tastefully designed, but when I pay hundreds of pounds a night for a room (and this is 400 upwards for the suite) the very minimum I expect is to be able to sleep by midnight. The windows of the bedroom face inwards to the courtyard of the bar and it echoes loudly, as well as being quite bright. Such a shame because this place could have been 4/5 star if the needs of hotel guests were put first. Instead loud drunk people off the street are the priority. Oh and there is no reception to go down and speak to someone about these problems, that is something else which needs to be remedied for this to be a proper functioning hotel.

The highlight of the place is cocktails and the bar tender. He was amazing. The cocktail with jalapenos is a must try Overall the place is amazing, and paintings give it a special vibe Food is average, and not bad

An oasis of luxury and peace in the bubbling Gemmayzeh neighborhood : a fully renovated boutique hotel in a complex of historical villas surrounding a charming a courtyard with large trees and a pool; large, quiet rooms with all amenities; functioning wifi in the whole hotel, delicious dishes at all times a of the day and last but not least, very helpful and attentive staff.

It all started when we got back after a long day and I found the same stain on my bedsheet. Which means they never change the bedsheets. We’ve booked a suite to get the best service but yet they couldn’t do a good job on the housekeeping. We checked out around 4 pm and I called them around 7 pm to inform them that I forgot my earrings in the room, they said they won’t be able to check as another guest in the room. When they should’ve cleaned the room and kept all the items at lost and found. Next day I called and they informed me they didn’t find anything, when I saw it there the last time. Add to that that I’ve heard same thing happened with other people their things gone missing. I asked them to check who cleaned the room and investigate. Still never got any reply
