Paloma Grida

Went to Paloma Grida for 10 nights in August and was very pleasantly surprised. The grounds of the hotel were kept very clean, and rooms cleaned well daily. Pools and slides were amazing! Sunbeds did go quite quickly, but we did manage to get one still if we were down by 8am. The buffet food was very nice. Great choice of salads, and fresh meat/fish cooked in front of you. Was a bit hard to get a table sometimes, but managed to get one eventually. If you tipped the lovely waiters or waitresses then they brought you your drink straight away when you sat down. We liked to have some small notes available to tip, as they were so attentive and we felt like they deserved it. All the staff we met were very nice and friendly and nice to the kids. Free ice lollies all day too on the all inclusive. Lastly the kids club was AMAZING!! lovely and cold air conditioning, great activities and space. And the girls were just lovely there!! Particularly Tulay, Damla, Melike, Birkaan, irem, Busra and Batuhan. Felt very safe leaving the kids there and they just call or message you on WhatsApp if your kids need you. Ours were desperate to go every single day for a few hours. The kids mini disco was great too. It was so hot when we went I’d recommend full covered swimming protection for the kids. Also make sure you book the a la carte restaurants early, the day you arrive as they get fully booked. We had two amazing meals. One on a jetty over the sea which was gorgeous. Great place and would return. Kids club was my highlight! Night entertainment was great too. Saw an amazing Michael Jackson tribute, and magicians etc. very memorable.

The hotel was a disappointment for me and my partner. Compared to another 5* hotel during our vacation last year. There was no chair in the room. Tea and coffee were prepared on the first day, but there was no glass so that we could drink it. The next day we made up for it from the restaurant. I missed a shoe scoop. There is no free plug, you had to unplug the lamp to charge the phone. The room needs renovation. The bed mattress is spread out. The sunbed had to be hunted for after 10 o'clock, because many guests already spread their towels in the morning, thereby reserving the sunbed. There was a large crowd, and you also had to look for a free table at meals. Food: cold cuts were missing. There were two types of soup, which we didn't really like. They were all a bit sour. We had a hard time finding suitable food, even though we are not gourmets. The pool was beautiful, the water and its surroundings were clean, they took care of cleanliness. They constantly picked up the broken glasses, and cleaned the pools in the evening. The staff are nice and always smiling and helpful. The cocktails were also delicious. Nevertheless, we tried to have a good time. The day before departure, I asked the reception to help me pick up my luggage. Although I waited for help at the appointed time, no one came. I was forced to carry our bags myself, because the transfer was already waiting for us.

This hotel is amazing. Has everything you would want and expect. The facilities are great for kids and families and the beach is beautiful. The food options had lots of variety and buffet was always changing its options. They had theme nights and plenty of entertainment for childen. They converted the football pitch into an outdoor festival complete with a stage! there are little cakes shops and everything is included. The rooms are comfy clean and I can’t rate this hotel highly enough. I will definitely try and return

very good atmosphere inside the hotel, very friendly staff and clean hotel, the food each night was lovely, steak house 10/10 but unfortunately let down by the lotus restaurant due to the food not being the nicest and lack of communication, if your looking for a quite get away this is the place to be :) there is also lots of trips available for all the family , there is also plenty of food options and entertainment in the evening they also have cats roaming around which are very friendly and approachable the hotel acts as a cat sanctuary and give the cats an amazing life and home as you can see from the photos they are no bother and just come and rest beside you this has been my 6th time at paloma and would come back every-time i travel to turkey ❤️i have included a few photos i took from my most recent visit

We stayed here in September and this is before the renovations and if was it dyer need of updating. To room was dark and tired and aircon was shocking. The balconies are so small they are pointless. I don't go on holiday to be surrounded by brits however it was a case of you heard someone talking english it was a shock. Lots and lots of Germans at this hotel and area. While on holiday my son had a sudden eye turn that landed us in hospital for 4 days (2 hospitals, 2 x MRI's, spinal tap) and the guest services team were amazing and a credit to the hotel. They messaged us everyday for updates, waited for us at the entrance, sent fruit plates and helped us when needed. They also pointed us in the right direction for taxis. There is a great company on site that does taxis, airport transfers and he was so lovely and even brought my sons bag to the hospital when he was picking me up to get back to my daughter. My son really wants to go back to see all the cats there and we may consider it once we see the reviews when the hotel reopens again

Having been to Paloma Grida two years ago and finding our time there more than excellent we decided to make it a family affair and return 14 strong, all adults. Now, as then, our stay was excellent. From the repairing of the broken suitcase to the swift reparation of the vault, their friendliness, willingness to serve made our stay excellent. We found the dining arrangements scrumptious. Enough variety for all to enjoy. The accommodations like bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well kept. Pools and play-pools seemed well loved although or company were much older than the children that occupied most of the slides. As most of our time was spent on the beach at the Adult Beach club. We found the service nothing short of excellent, the cocktails tasty and the friendly Hawaiian character of the sight an enhancement to our experience. The staff overall were nothing short of friendly, kind and accommodating. However, our regards go out to the one staff member Tugbish, who stole our hearts as a waitress on our previous visit in 2022 and did the same, only now as the bartender. Tugbish was in part the reason for our return as her warmth and friendliness did the Paloma organization proud. Her professional mixing of the cocktails, friendly demeanour and warm-hearted interest in making our stay a good one was above and beyond the call of duty. She was profound is her duties, managed the waiting staff well and kept a tight and clean bar and club. Her participating in the festivities when our Dutch national team played against Romania wearing the "red, white and blue Hawaiian head wreath" we supplied her to honour the occasion, only enhanced our experience after the Dutch had won. Sadly, her manager took some offence to the headgear calling it "sleezy" and non-compliant, even though, if anything, it added to the beachy character of the site and, to our surprise, decided to “let her go”. It proved to be Tugbish's last evening at the Beachclub and she was sorely missed hereafter. Although she had previously decided to leave Paloma to further her career the Sunday after, this was, in my humbled opinion, not the way management should have gone about it. Nonetheless, our stay at Grida was absolutely wonderful and we left with heavy hearts wishing our stay could have lasted longer. Tugbish, we tip our hats to you! You were, and always will be the highlight and star of our stay. Friendly staff, great food, wonderful drinks, fabulous looking grounds, and absolutely sublime weather have provided us with a wonderful time. Thanks, Tugbish and thank you Paloma Grida.
