I arrived yesterday and I must say I am not impressed at all. The check-in process was satisfactory, and I was offered a drink. I was then taken to my room. When I woke up for breakfast, I was confused about where to go. I walked around for a while before I finally found the restaurant. However, it was closed, and there was nowhere to eat until 12:00 except for one snack bar. There were also not many food options available. I then went to the reception to ask if I could change my room because of the smell. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available. I work in the travel industry, and I had booked this room at 11:00 PM the night before we arrived, so I believe that the receptionist was not being entirely truthful. I was also informed that if I wanted a sea view, I would have to pay an additional 600 euros. The receptionist even suggested that if I did not want my room, they would take it back and I would have nowhere to stay. I have been to many hotels in Lara, Belek, and other parts of the world, and I have never been spoken to in such a rude and unprofessional manner. I will provide more details as I spend more time here, but I must say that my first day has not been a positive experience.
