I am writing to formally express my disappointment with how our group was treated during our recent, current stay at your hotel. We arrived on a Friday as a group of 26 and had an enjoyable experience until Tonight, Tuesday evening, While the lounge was open and the bar staff were happy to serve drinks, we were unexpectedly confronted by the General Manager when the noise level was deemed excessive. Unfortunately, rather than addressing the situation in a professional and constructive manner, the General Manager’s approach was aggressive and confrontational, which we found both unnecessary and unacceptable, one would say we felt afraid. Several members of our group had rooms above the adjacent bar, where loud music had been playing on previous nights without any intervention from hotel management. This inconsistency in handling noise complaints raises concerns about fairness and professionalism in guest relations. When I attempted to escalate this matter with customer relations and requested an email address to formally share my experience, I was given contact details that turned out to be invalid. Additionally, during my discussion, the Managing Director intervened in a manner that felt hostile, and he then shouted across the very lounge area we were pulled up on, demanded my room number. This interaction left me feeling threatened and deeply uncomfortable. I am truly disappointed that a hotel of your reputation would handle a situation in this manner. I expected a more professional and balanced approach to guest concerns. I would appreciate a formal response regarding this matter, as well as valid contact details to escalate my complaint if necessary.
