In Hotel Belgrade

I stayed here with family as I was attending a conference at the Sava centre nearby. We paid £530 for a 5 night stay. Negatives: I sent a message in advance asking for a quiet room on a high floor. When we arrived, we had a first floor room overlooking the hotel entrance, leading to a busy highway. Every time a taxi or car came past, they went over a ramp. Needless to say this was really noisy and I’d recommend bringing earplugs as I did, if you’re a light sleeper like me. Check in: We found the staff quite abrupt and miserable. A smile and saying “welcome” on arrival wouldn’t have gone amiss. They weren’t friendly or approachable. Also, when trying to exchange some money, we were referred to a sign in the corner which was difficult to get to due to other people checking in. The staff could have just told us the rate (which they eventually did anyway). This was in contrast to the Serbian people we met outside the hotel who were warm and friendly. We politely asked the hotel to call for a taxi and even though they did, everything seemed a hassle to them. Also, they refused to give us more than one room card. As I was at a conference and family were sightseeing, this was very inconvenient. Rooftop bar: we were disappointed this was closed for the duration of our stay. Room: quite dated and tired decor, with two tiny single beds which were rock hard. It was laughable. The room could have easily fit two double beds. The shower was warm but never hot or very powerful. Curtains not fully blackout. There is no kettle in the room and no tea/coffee provided. Breakfast was offered at 20 euros per person per day, which we declined. Positives: It’s not far from a Lidl which is next to the Sava centre. All the same products as the UK. Also close to bakeries, pharmacies and food options. We worked out that you can hop on the 95 bus at the Sava centre which takes you straight in to the city centre and back. You can easily buy tickets on an app. The room was spotless. Can be cleaned every day if you want, but it’s good they are encouraging guests to be eco friendly and consider reusing towels. There is a safe and hairdryer in the room as well as a desk/dressing table. Shower gel and conditioner is provided but not shampoo. WiFi seemed to work well generally. Highly recommend the Greek restaurant (next to the hotel restaurant) and Novak Djokovic’s cafe nearby. I visited the Crowne Plaza and Hotel Indigo which are also 4 star and unfortunately this hotel just doesn’t compare.

I paid for my stay in cash and the card was a guarantee, however, they took the amount of €115 from my card and said that they would refund the money. The card is only a guarantee, as they told me, but I paid for my stay twice! I didn't get the money back on the card until today and they don't respond to my emails and contacts! I can't reach anyone except the reception and they are useless. It's a shame what the Hotel allows itself and beware of fraud in this way!!!

Location , Staff & Amenities are 100% . Everything you require you need and more. Shuttle is available to take you to the airport at any hour for a reasonable cost. All staff including the Front Desk Concierge, House Keeping , Dining Room area were extremely polite and proffessional. I will be staying at this hotel again should I return to Belgrade.

While not the most convenient hotel to stay at if you want to explore the sites of Belgrade by foot, we enjoyed our stay here. It was a 45 minute walk across the river to Republic Square where we met up with our walking tour. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of selection.

I had a great experience staying at a hotel while working remotely. The overall establishment exceeded my expectations. The room had a spacious working desk, and I also appreciated the option to work from the hotel bar on the ground floor, which had a productive atmosphere given that mostly businessmen are staying there. The breakfast provided was enjoyable. I would rate my experience with four stars, primarily because the rooftop bar was unexpectedly closed during my stay, without any explanations. Additionally, it's worth noting that massages should be preordered a day in advance. The hotel's convenient accessibility from the highway was another positive aspect.

Again being a quest in this hotel. Still a very good choice when making a business trip. Great location, nice staff, spacious and clean rooms. Great breakfast. But when comparing the situation describing in my report from 2017 there are some changes I have to mention. No option for a free parking anymore. A daily fee (5 EUR) for the Electric water heater (but with tea bags, instant coffee and two cups). Hair dryer was a very basic one (the professional is available upon request and additional fee). Water in toilet was running all the time (not much, but too much for the hotel which is declaring a strict environmental policy and implemented it on towels, bedding). Having in mind all is written above I give a four stars. But be very clear. IN Hotel is a very good option to stay in Belgrade.
