Love this place. This is our 3rd stay there. The staff is so welcoming and always goes the extra mile to ensure our comfortable stay. Breackfast was a real treat and the addition of the Igloos was a welcome surprise that our group of 7 really enjoyed and had fun in . The Fall colors were brilliant and that was an extra treat.

Disappointing Stay! Took my wife to stay the whole weekend for a late Valentine's getaway and was highly disappointed with the overall experience. Friday night, we wanted to do the wine tasting with dinner/cheesecake. While we were having our tasting, the owner came out and told us the kitchen was being closed and the staff was being sent home. I asked if we could at least have a piece of cheesecake, and we could have dinner on Saturday. We were told NO. I then told him we were staying there for the weekend, and the only thing he could say was, "I don't know what to say." He then told us of a bar down the street where we could get food and drinks! (I don't know if he said this because we look like a younger couple, but I was highly offended) I brought my wife to have a romantic weekend away, not go to some bar down the street. We ended up ordering a pizza and eating in our room for the night. Saturday, we planned on venturing out for the first half of the day and ending our evening with a nice dinner & dessert. While we were leaving, the owner saw us and introduced us to his wife as the couple that didn't get our food or cheesecake the night before; they just laughed it off. We got back from our day around dinner time. We were told earlier for dinner to just let the hostess know we were staying there and would like to have dinner and we would be seated (this was after I specifically asked if we needed reservations, but figured this was there way of making Friday night right by us). The lady ended up seating us at the very end of the bar in the small tasting room! My wife and I are guests staying for the weekend, and we were seated at the bar with little to no service. Once the waitress finally came to take our order, we ended up just ordering cheesecake and a bottle of wine (who wants to have a private intimate dinner with your wife sitting at the bar). It took forever just to get our cheesecake, and we still did not have our bottle of wine, so we waited a bit to start eating to see if it would come. It did not, so we ate our cheesecake with no wine and got to listen to the bartender and waitresses complaining the whole time. Once our bottle finally came, we told the waitress we would like the check and we would just take the bottle to our room. She looked at us funny, and we then proceeded to tell her that we were staying there for the whole weekend. She said, "Oh my, no one told me this. I'm so sorry. " It was before 7 pm, and we were in our room eating cold leftover pizza from the night before! I travel for work and am only home every few weeks! I booked this place to have a wonderful weekend with my wife with no kids, hoping to have a wonderful, peaceful, intimate time. It's very disappointing being treated this way when, in fact, at any chance anyone there had the chance to make it right. We would have had better service staying at a Holiday Inn, for a whole lot less! We will not be back!

Charming, squeaky clean, lovely bed & breakfast. Ultra-comfy beds and high quality bedding. Quiet relaxing atmosphere. Clean? Amazing - there is no dirt, no dust, no wear or signs or use. Super friendly staff. We've stayed in several rooms including the top 1200 sq foot room 8; all superb; but our fave is room #2. There is no other place in the area for us.

Stayed in Room 3/Southern Sunset. Comfy bed, enjoyed the balcony, even with 3 other couples staying in the B&B, it was very quiet! Having a very small hall between the door and the actual room may have helped reduce any noise as well. Did hear chairs being moved around in the dining area below us though. Soft drinks, water, Keurig & snacks provided in the hallway for guests. Employees need to periodically check & restock the coffee cups & carafe of water for the Kcup machine. Another room took the carafe & filled it from their bathroom sink. Luckily her hubby didnt drink coffee as there was only 1 coffee cup available. Breakfast was a cup of mixed fruit, a tasty coffee cake muffin, egg frittata & sausage links. All in all, a really nice experience! The evening before, we did winetasting at the little bar area (there was beer & cocktails as well) and had dinner there as well which was wonderful. Walked down the sidewalk to the river where there are benchs. If you arent into getting out & about & want to just relax OR if the weather is nasty, this is a perfect place to hang out inside for the day, read a book in their sitting area, enjoy sitting at the bar and enjoying a nice dinner. Only suggestion I would make is that our room & another of the rooms I saw could both use (& it would fit in the room) a 2nd casual chair to sit in & read or watch tv.
