Azaya Beach Resort Goa

Resort situated in nice place with good ,polite hotel staff You will get plenty if space where you can click pics for your social media.

There is nothing much in the hotel except high prices to be paid on the name of 5 star property. There is hardly any arrangement to sit at the beach, there rooms are quite weirdly structured, no view from the rooms and property is deteriorating with every passing day. Buffet breakfast is not worth at all- they take exorbitant amount of time to serve you on the table after taking the order from live station. While the a la carte food at dinner is still fine. Their reservations staff is not cooperative specially person named frazaer and Shashank as they are not the person of their words and hardly know customer service. Other junior staff is still better and courteous enough. Mayur was better in managing and handling the client requests and situation. Overall, would not recommend this place to anyone who need to spend a good amount of money, suggest find other 5 star properties as they are much more value for money with better services and amenities. Please avoid if you like a happy goa trip.

Great resort with wonderful private beach, One of the cleanest in Goa. Excellent staff with ever ready temperament to help guests. La Concha restaurant staff and chefs were superb and food was excellent. Wonderful hospitality Mrs Sanjana and team

This is our third visit to this beautifully located hotel, we messaged the duty manager in advance maybe expecting acknowledgment of our loyalty to this hotel, we even brought our daughter and partner for their first visit to India. On arrival instead of a warm welcome back we got a standard here’s your room, see you later! We had another amazing holiday in India and enjoyed lovely meals out visiting old acquaintances we met previously in restaurants and beach shacks. However, the hotel is not what it used to be. The management appears to be very poor. When problems arose, even simple ones like broken machinery in the gym, lights not working in the room, no hot water etc; it had to be repeated many times before it was eventually sorted out. Breakfast was often chaotic bringing tea and coffee out at the end of breakfast and asking for a table outside to be cleaned was a job that was never done. Saying that though, many of the staff were absolutely fabulous. A special thank you to Madden who worked at the pool should be mentioned. He managed to make us feel valuable during our stay at the hotel. There was also a very reliable waiter at breakfast called Hayden who was very good and asking if we needed anything else, making breakfast enjoyable. A really special relaxing and enjoyable part of the holiday was the lovely spa treatments I enjoyed. The aromatherapy treatments from Nisha Shaikh really helped us feel relaxed and stress free during our stay. This hotel is in a gem of a location and with maintenance and proper management would be a hotel we may consider in the future again but definitely not in its current state of repair and management.

We were due to stay here in November. However the first room they showed us was disgusting. Smelt very foisty. Black mould on walls. Balcony filthy. Plus glass all round balcony that you couldn't see over. Second ground floor room even worse. The floor was lifting in places again mould on walls horrible smell. Third room well what can I say. Absolutely disgusting. This was a room with private pool. Firstly lots of missing tiles in pool you would cut your feet if you tried going in. Outside shower wall completely black. Outside area was so grubby you wouldn't want to sit there. Inside room again black mould and plaster coming off walls. Material headboard very stained you just wouldn't want get in the bed. Terrible smell of moist. My husband has asthma and no way could sleep in any if the rooms. We fortunately walked up the road and checked in The Fortune hotel which is less stars but far superior. How Tui can charge the amount they do abbd expect people to stay at Azaya is completely beyond me. I wonder if management will reply to this post as they only seem to reply to positive posts. AVOID THIS HOTEL

Visited this wonderful resort at the start of the season, great room, facilities and pool. We tried all of the restaurants and bars in the resort, great selections and very friendly and accommodating staff, especially Rosmand Fernandez.
