Ikaia River Lodge recensioner

Thank you for a wonderful visit. We really enjoyed our time at Ikaia River lodge. The staff were very helpful and the room clean with everything we needed.

Ikaia lodge is of a high standard and our stay was excellent. My family was very impressed with the facility, and they really enjoyed the venue. I will recommend Ikaia to all for all travellers to visit and enjoy the scenery it was amazing, and we will definitely visit again. This was my third visit to Ikaia, and I will recommend all to visit. What a wonderful place.

Despite the recent heavy flooding of Orange river we were warmly welcomed and our rooms were clean and adequately equipped. Enjoyed delicious supper in restaurant.

Today we arrived expecting to have a problem due to the flooding Orange river. Yet on arrival, we were pointed to the higher part of the road, normally the one-way exit, to enter, with clear instructions as to where to park to check in. As we were driving to our accommodation, the chef Johan and the lady that checked us in, came to our car and suggested that they lay a table for us on our patio in front of the room, overlooking the river, and let us have dinner there. They took our order and Johan and a waitress brought our meal out ... and as always, the food were amazing. I just started walking after being in a wheelchair and they made a plan to make it comfortable for me. That is going that extra mile. Thank you Ikaya, we will return again and again.

The whole unit was very nice and clean - there was a problem with the water pressure, but the establishment kept us updated about resolving the problem. The view was absolutely breathtaking!

We had a fantastic stay, beautiful location with Springbuck roaming around, lush vegetation. An excellent supper left for us in our room as we arrived late. The breakfast was scrumptious and the chef friendly. Overall the staff were very friendly and accommodating and happy to go the extra mile for us. We will be back,thankyou!

We had a great stay at Ikaia Reiver Lodge situated on the Orange River. Beautiful scenic view overlooking the river. The accommodation and facilities were very good. Definitely good value for money.

Friendly staff and ground staff. Ground staff was helpful and did not use the **** eater where my son was playing. He moved passed us and came back later.

Will make use of River lodge again in future and refer friends and family also to make use of it. It is central to all tourist attractions around keimoes.

On the way to the Kgalagadi. Why, when one arrives early weren't we allocated a quiet cottage? Noisy traffic all night. Tired looking accommodation and restaurant food & service disappointing. Just adequate

Great location for a nights stay. Serving dinner and breakfast on site, with a variety of food choices. Good comfortable beds and quiet location.

Very neat and clean rooms with all the necessary equipment for a one-night stay and coffee in the morning. Lovely dinner in the restaurant

Will definitely stay there again. The view of the river is relaxing, and the springbok added to the tranquility.
