Hotel Cimbel

A lovely hotel, directly on the beach. We had a room overlooking the beach. The shower was powerful and spacious, and the beds were made each day. We had bed & breakfast, so can't comment on lunch/dinner, but breakfast was the usual choices. The cornflakes were like cardboard, so avoid. Tasty scrambled egg though. Negatives - lifts are quite slow and small, so get quite congested at busy times. The pool is lovely, but they don't have many umbrellas. 3 euros for a small bottle of water in the room. You can buy a large bottle from the supermarket for 69cents. There is very little entertainment, and what there was was mainly Spanish orientated as the hotel consisted of mainly older Spanish guests.

My nephew paid for us to stay here as a birthday treat for my wife. From the time of arrival until we left, it was amazing. We had a lovely room with a sea view. Very comfortable bed, kettle, tea, coffee, milk and water provided. A not too expensive mini bar. Beautiful bathroom with soap shampoo and lotions. We also had the breakfast included. What can I say? It was amazing. It was buffet style including cereals, cheese and cold meats, hot food including bacon sausage egg etc fruit juices, tea and coffee, hot chocolate. Really good. Excellent staff who were very polite and helpful. No fuss checking in/out. I 100% recommend this hotel and will be visiting again later this year.

Just spent the best few days in hotel cimbel, what a fantastic hotel. We chose one of the private pool rooms.overlooking levante beach It was amazing. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The mini bar is filled daily with water, sodas and beer, this is complementary in the pool rooms .There is a super powerful rainforest shower in the bathroom, with quality toiletries ( ritual), the balcony is large with table and 2 chairs to dine at and 2 sunbeds. The plunge pool is heated and also can be used as a jacuzzi. We were just b& b as we like to dine out.so can't comment on lunch or dinner. The breakfast was fresh, plentiful and always hot. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning worth every penny.

Have been lucky enough to stay here twice. Beautiful rooms, we had our mini bar refreshed daily and a great wrap around balcony,great service, awesome bathrooms, the pool is lovely as is the pool bar and you can't get much closer to the beach. Worth every penny

We traveled to this hotel for a 5 night break . Where we stayed on a half board basis . We were on the top floor , and the view over the sea was fantastic . Room was nice , clean . Lacked complementary water , and lacked UK Chanels on tv. Food was good , breakfast was top rate .

We had a room with a seaview and terrace with swim-up , which was great and became our go to place for sun bathing and chllin out . Tapas alley a short stroll away and 3 streets behind is the main strip with all the bars and shows, so close to everything you need .
