Apartamentos Avenida

Last min booking, Be prepared be dropped a good walking distance away from this apartment/hotel, ( not ideal with disabilities) its £100 euros cash deposit on check in. *Cockroches in entrance via shop* Room basic claustrophobic, AC vents so dirty I'm worried about legionnaires disease, plus needs lots diy doing, place is dirty, pillows need chucking an lack off pillows * Had go buy essential cleaning products so could clean before using kitchenbathroom* no cooker only hob * And your on a Water meter so no long showers if more than 3ppl. Wifi only in room nearest door. Thin walls, can constantly hear chairs being scrape on floor, if kids above here them running around. Still good walking distance away to new town an English pubs. Ruined holiday, as we had spend all are time out of the room, its not a place can chill an rest before going out for a night. Depressing

Stayed at Avenida hotel a few times ,decided to book apartment,big mistake ,the worst place I have stayed in Benidorm.The apartment was dark and depressing,bathroom was just a cupboard awful ,bedroom was on the long corridor,so no window to speak of .The noise level was terrible,shouting and swearing during the night.We did get moved after three days ,that apartment was much nicer ,and not noisy ,if you get a booking in those apartments much better.Would I return,definitely not .On a better note great location.

100 euro demanded up front. Lumpy mattress, Lumpy pillows and grumpy receptionist. In order to get your deposit back you need to wash up, dry up (no dish towel or kitchen cloth), strip the beds and prove you haven't pinched the tv remote. The one bed appartement bedroom is way too small for 2 people. They are pushed together and up against the wall on one side and on the other side only around a foot wide. You have to climb over each other to get in and out of bed. Oh and also you get off the transfer bus with a little card showing you how to find the appartments! On a positive note it is a great location and a nice breakfast

So we are here 10 days now out of our 14 day stay and I must say I am very impressed. The apartment is compact but has everything you could need, they are kept immediately clean by a very polite team. We have so far had our bed changed twice and towels changed regularly. The apartment is quite dated and could do with a bit of a makeover but the location is fantastic.

These apartments are a bit dated, just like many places in Spain with dark wooded furniture and fittings, however the room was clean and the towels and bedding very changed every couple of days. The staff are excellent, very friendly and sorted any issues we had straight away. Due to the design and location there are not many rooms with a view, but as a base it's perfect. Anyone staying at the apartments can use the facilities of the sister, 4 star hotel, 20 yards away The location is right in the centre of the old town, easy access to the many tapas bars and eateries. It's just 50m from the beach and the Benidorm high life is a 15min stroll away. A great base.

We are just back from a week here with the full board option at the restaurant in the hotel across the street. I cannot fault this place. We had a 1 bedroom apartment facing out the back, we did ask for a street view but when we got in I realised the back facing rooms still had a balcony which we were more than happy with (as smokers). The apartment was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed, not that we cooked as we had our meals over the road. It is a bit dated but this didn’t bother us at all. The staff in both the apartments and hotel were phenomenal, so friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. On our arrival they told us that we could get a packed lunch for the airport heading home which was a nice surprise to us. There was a deposit of €100 when we checked in and we got this back on check out. It is only payable by cash but they take either euros or pounds which if I knew I probably would have paid in pounds but it wasn’t the end of the world. The food in the restaurant was lovely, I was a bit sceptical about it however there was always lots of options, show cooking, pastas, salads and soup. The deserts were lovely too. The wine was very cheep in the restaurant and the beer was reasonably priced. We visited the roof top pool and terrace once but as it was January didn’t use the pool. It seemed lovely too. I would definitely stay here again as the price we paid and what we got was fantastic.
