Magic Cristal Park

We recently returned from a short 4 night break and I have to say we loved everything about this hotel. The hotel upon entry is very friendly and accommodating, we checked in with ease and were given all the information required such as restaurant times, snack times, bar opening, pool times and entertainment schedule. The rooms are excellent size and more than comfy enough for our family of 4 with both children in their own beds, good size bathroom etc and the room overlooking the quieter side street with the Julio Iglesias park to our right. A Good couldn’t be faulted with an excellent array of cross cuisine foods such as meats, cold foods and an ever changing secretion of fish and seafood. Self serve Beer, Wine and soft drinks in the restaurants. Kids were entertained with the machines, pool table and Air Hockey in the downstairs lounge and bar which had excellent service also. The pool and bar on the roof were an excellent addition to a brilliant hotel, somewhere to absorb the sun, have a swim, get a drink and see the sights of Benidorm. Games at 11:15 were great from children to larger adult kids. All staff excellent with a special mention to Anita. Anita is friendly and approachable, happy to answer our multiple questions about the hotel, the area and general chat when she wasn’t rushing around. Having people like this really makes staying in hotels more pleasurable. Thankyou Anita. We are now planning on returning in April for another break at the Magic Cristal Park, we enjoyed the hotel and this area of Benidorm. All in all 5 out of 5 from us.

Very old building in need of tlc,and it shows The staff are overworked in the dining area, hence the worst food ever..... Nothing for kid's besides a game room, which is 5 EUR for 2 hrs, Food gets worse with every meal. Tripe, big feet, just some of the examples. no smart TV, so literally 5 English channels. One bar with constant queues. Besides the roof bar, Only one staff member at the site. AC would constantly stop working, the window on the 3rd floor opens completely.. Very thin walls. Would not return there if you paid me. Mistake was spending Christmas there.

Before we visited this hotel, I read a lot of mixed reviews and was on the fence about it. Now that we have actually experienced it, I feel that an honest review is needed. This is a lovely hotel for a city break. I think the English has ruined this city. When my family and I did the 10 minutes walk to the beach through the city, all we experienced was drunk english being loud and arguing. As an English woman myself, I feel really let down. The hotel is really well located for a shopping holiday as it is right in the middle of town. The food is mostly fish.. so if you're like me and do not like it, then you won't find the all-inclusive that appealing.. but I did find the food to be fresh and different every night. I had no trouble finding hot, fresh food every day, and the dining staff were very helpful and attentive. We tipped them every night as they did an amazing job. My children loved the club downstairs, and the bar staff was wonderful. Even though they were very busy all night, they still had a smile for you and had no issues making my children mocktails. The rooms are very clean. The roof pool is so disappointing, and the children's slide and playarea (on a different floor) really let this place down! Overall, this is a nice place to stay if you don't mind fish dinners, a cold swimming pool and a city hotel. We enjoyed our stay here but will not be returning not because of the food or the staff but because of the location and the roof pool.

We booked one night on the day to extend our stay. Very pleased with the hotel for the price, yes its a little dated and has a higher percentage of Spanish guests. The room was very clean, after a good check in with welcome drink I was shown to my room which was a lovely touch. Drinks were well made and plentiful, occasional small queues at the bar as expected. Food was varied and plentiful - but do check your meat is cooked through we had a very pink burger. The highlight for us was the upstairs pool area where we lay and watched the sun go down with a drink which was a real highlight of the holiday - the views are stunning.

Hi.We just arrived home couple days ago. We spend very nice time in this hotel. Delicious food, every day different assortment. Nice environment. Every day clean rooms.Very friendly and helpful stuff. In the evening time music and activities. Thank you very much!

Hotel is in a very good position for shops beach . transport. The hotel is dated and you get what you pay for. There are not enough staff to deal with the bars and the amount of people staying here. Our room was comfortable but the bathroom had tiles that had been painted and was peeling off . The food is good but watch out for some of the deep fried food as friends we were with became ill and could only taste fried bread .! There is plenty of choices for everyone some of the food was delicious . The hotel is extremely busy and noisy throughout the day and quite often into the early hours with doors slamming and people talking in the corridors at ridiculous times ! The lifts get busy and you can wait a while we were on 5th floor I tended to walk down and lift up . You can wait up to 20 mins to get a drink at the bar in the lobby and by the pool. We saw a couple of occasions where there was food dropped (once accidentally by a child) and there was no staff to help tidy it up so the food and broken crockery sat on the floor for a good hour .. also the outside space by reception was left disgusting by some of the guests but that also stayed that way for a number of hours ..it is not high season so they might have cut back on staff ... We did have a nice time but would not return to this hotel
