Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis

Great stay. Fairly central to town and beach. Facilities where good although pool was closed and room looked out onto a noisy building site to the rear. Close to local pupluc transport and plenty of parking.

The hotel was great .. i was all inclusive .. in a double room .. the food was really nice .. good selection for breakfast lunch and dinner .. could be a bit more fruit .. entertainment wasnt as good as last time but it is understandable as not so many guests The staff were brilliant , very helpful and friendly , the entertainment team were excellent ! The room was very spacious , clean and warm , kettle supplied with selection of tea and coffee , uk tv and nice balcony . The price was good for 2 people but i was on my own and did not get a discount .. it would have been brilliant if there was a single person discount

Absolutely beautiful hotel , immaculately clean , the food was exceptional with a huge selection for all tastes , my favourite was that they did a different fish everyday and their chicken and pork was cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and work tirelessly. Our room was lovely and clean with a beautiful view of the mountains . This is a wonderful hotel slightly away from the club area which gave us some peace and quiet but also only a 15 minute walk to the beach , the indoor pool was very nice , a little cold for the outdoor pool , the maid cleaned our room everyday and it was always spotless , one of the best holidays we’ve ever had ! We are coming back soon

Honest Review. We have stayed lots of times over many years, Check in was long as two coaches pulled up and both were full, all people staying here, so the que was huge, But they supply a drink trolley while you wait, and the reception staff are very efficient ROOM. we requested a high floor, we were given rooms together on floor 17 with fantastic view, room was perfect, plenty of space and maid service very good. FOOD. Always great in my option, there’s always plenty of choice, a lot of people say the foods not hot, but people walk around taking food from different areas so it’s going to get cool, there is a microwave which is brilliant. DRINK. all inclusive standard is excellent, we normally book club and get upgraded all inclusive, The selection for standard all inclusive is excellent, plenty of choices, scan the QR code on the table to get the full drinks menu on your phone, and it’s surprising how much is included , the Milkshake with cream were great, and the pina coladas went down a treat. ENTERTAINMENT. Now this was our only disappointment, this hotel has always had fantastic entertainment even through the winter months, However the main entertainment room downstairs was closed for the whole week we were staying, The piano bar upstairs was open with singers most nights, but the layout means only about 30 can sit and see the entertainment, any other seats have walls blocking the view, and some guests grabbed all the seats as soon as it opened, so even if you went for dinner as soon as the restaurant opened, you had no chance of a seat, so we only got a seat 1 night out of the week, we did question this with reception staff, who said due to the hotel not having full capacity they were closing parts of the hotel, but I did say the hotel was almost full, you could tell with the number of guests at meal times the restaurant was full, so how can 300/400 guest all fit in a small room with about 90 seats. Very disappointing. Overall this is a great Hotel, all the staff are friendly ( apart from a couple of grumpy ones ) All inclusive is great, hotel is spotlessly clean, treat facilities. Medplaya are a fantastic chain and we have already booked to stay again I hope the entertainment room will be open.

Weve stayed at the Flamingo oasis many times but this was the first time weve stayed for xmas and new year The hotel had many decorations up in the grounds and in the hotel to give a very xmassy feel As usual the staff were very welcoming and i would say nearly all of them always greeted you. We found the food very edible always something to grab your fancy and def a meat lovers dream - ribs,steak,roasts etc The xmas and new years gala meals were very nice - and a lovely touch that all the staff greeted you as you went into the restaurant The entertainment was quite good for the time of year - wasnt expecting much as we go out most nights but what we did see was very acceptable for a hotel All in all a very enjoyable stay - the weather was fantastic for the duration of our stay - a couple of cloudy days - we didnt see a cloud for the first 5 days Cant wait to return

I would rate this hotel 3* It really needs updating in a few areas. The floor in the restaurant needs replacing as it’s worn in places. The seating in the lounge areas aren’t that comfortable. The food is barely warm, bland and not a lot of choice, over the week, a bit repetitive. Staff are a bit grumpy, especially the lady serving in the restaurant bar. I saw her being quite rude to an older lady who was just asking a question. Non of the staff seem to smile or make polite conversation. The rooms are spacious, but our bath was rusty, see photos. They were cleaned, but cups not washed and coffee, tea etc not replenished on a few occasions. The pool was great, clean, good size. Evening entertainment good. Would I go her again, sadly no. I wouldn’t recommend either.
