Where do I begin with this? I have been visiting Benidorm for thw past 40 years and never had an issue. We booked the Flash Hotel as it was a lot cheaper than our normal hotel and we always looked at it and thought it looked a nice hotel so wasn't concerned that it was alot cheaper. Looks are very deceiving. Upon arrival we were greeted by Alex who was very helpful (the only bit of the hotel that was good) We went to our room 201 to find the plug sockets wasn't working and the patio door didn't lock. Spoke to reception and they said they would sort it. We went to the pool area where there was cig ends around the side and empty food cartons on the pool bar tables (only one person on the bar which isn't enough) After going back to the room the plug sockets were now working but the patio door still didn't lock. My husband went to turn the Air con on and it didn't work. Again I spoke to reception and they sent the maintenance guy up who spent 3 hours in our room and it couldn't be fixed. Reception rang and advised they were moving us rooms which wasn't ideal as we had unpacked all 3 cases. We got our things together and went to the new room 507 there was a dead mosquito squashed on the Bathroom wall the shower screen had a build up of dirt, the bedroom walls were filthy, another dead bug squashed on the bedroom wall, Balcony was filthy and have a broken tile which had a piece missing which had Sharpe edges, bedding was stained and the were dirty. Again spoke to reception they sent the maid to change the bedding and that was it. The following day I spoke to the Rep who requested they did a Deep clean which was fine as that's all I wanted. We left for the day and later returned to find everything still the same apart from they had cleaned the balcony glass. I spoke to the reception manager who came to look at the room and requested the cleaner and maintenance guy to come to the room. Thw maintenance guy said all he could do was put hazard tape over it until there was no booking in the room which wasn't a problem we knew what was under it and to avoid that tile. The Reception manager said the cleaner would sort the room while we were out. We went back out and later return and the cleanliness was still poor thick dust and crisps under the bed. I spoke to the Rep again and she spoke to the manager who advised the room was cleaned to a good standard and he advised he had a video of this. All my photo's are time and date stamped so I can prove this wasn't the case. Tuesday my daughter wasn't feeling great and wanted a lay in so I put the do not disturb sign on the door and I went to the Beach. My daughter later joined us but started to feel unwell again so went back to the room to find the door wide open and the maintenance guy in there sorting the tile. There was footprints and dust all over. I then return to find the tile was alot shorter and had jaggered edges. All photo's again were sent to the Rep. The cleaner arrived swept and mopped lite
